Row Homebrewers advice request
On this off-day I am going to prepare to bottle my 2nd summer batch of IPA in the never ending search of the perfect IPA recipe. My question or request for help is this:
Who's out of the rotation and who's shipped when DLR returns?
This is an interesting decision for the FO but I think ultimately the best thing for the organization is to ship Chacin back and have Cook regain form and pitch lights out. Now seeing as I too have many undeniably possible but not likely fantasies going on in my life, I don't wish to be disappointed and I say Chacin gives us a better chance to beat teams even going through his rookie mistakes and Cookie has become a 6th starter and should go long Guy and spot starter.
Tough call, I'd like to hear ya'alls take.
OT: Row Homebrewers Part 2
Last night I bottled 4 gallons and change of a Dutch Pilsner I got from Austin Homebrew. I was excited to see how plans for a Row homebrew session were coming or to see if any one out there would like to start a home brew exchange amungst Row members. I have had good success mailing 12 oz. bottles (usually 3) to my cousin and exchanging the padded packaging material and box to send back and forth to each other.
I was going to crack a couple of the Pils at the recommended 3 week bottle cure to taste, but I am going to try, optimal word is try here, to refrain from drinking them until they were at least 6wks cure, as the last batch was much better the longer the cure went.
My summer plans were to brew a quick batch of IPA on the next paycheck, and then experiment with another type of beer. And after hear Mkorpal talk of his Hefeweisen during the draft I'm inspired to try the old summer breakfast beer of choice.
I also wanted to keep the Home brewers posting area fresh on the Fanpost page. So post your latest batch or technique or question and happy hopping.
Help request from Row-bots
ok guys heres the problem from a new member out in West Texas. I have the MLB ticket which Black out games from the "home" Fox sports network feed. I think we are Fox Sports SW or Texas. Whatever...
Anyways our Fox network choose not to air the Astro game but the MLB ticket will not lift the blackout....Sooooooooo
Any suggestions from the techie crew for internet feeds (free) where I could watch tonights game?
I already tried to abuse a couple of Time Warner call attendants just on sheer princible even though I know its not thier fault. They took a very sympathetic tone and that threw me off my game.
SO please help guys, other wise I guess I'll "watch" from the purple row game feed
