Spent most of my life on the east coast, but grew up a Padres & Chargers fan. Since I can remember becoming a sports fan (circa 1983), I have chosen to root for the teams representing America's Finest City, much to the disdain of my ill-informed and unappreciative east coast homies.
I am a Navy brat (who later enlisted) and we lived all over - Guam, Hawaii, San Diego, Virginia. San Diego was the only place we lived in with pro sports franchises. Two of my sisters were born there. So, despite only spending 5 years of my life in San Diego, that is where my sports allegiance lies.
Love collecting sports cards as well. My collection consists mainly of - you guessed it - Padres and Chargers cards.
