I'm finally out of grad school and getting paid to work with deaf kids. I'll give Matt Holliday all of my good karma from my do-gooder job and a brandied apple pie to boot to stay in St. Louis. I don't live in St. Louis anymore and looking at the stadium remembering all of the beautiful afternoons/nights of baseball shared with good friends makes me a little verklempt. I love the Cardinals, I liked Yadi before it was cool, and I will never get used to the sight of Jim Edmonds in Cubbie blue. In my spare time I analyze the birds on bat, manipulate my fantasy team, and dream about opening a bakery near the stadium.

Oh yeah, those are my toes touching the center field grass.
