When I was 11, the San Jose Sharks made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. I started watching hockey. Since then, my life has been wasted in front of the television watching a little black dot go back and forth on the ice. Now I have the internet. I'm really screwed now.

I caught a bit of this on Soundprint on NPR today. A great documentary following Brooks Laich and Karl Alzner of the Washington Capitals. With all the recent discussion of how the Sharks are "chokers" or anything of the like, this is a great reminder that hockey is a rough sport, and the men who play it sacrifice so much, and it's still the greatest game in the world. Go Team Teal!

Nothing new really, other than Wysh stating things that the Sharks fanbase had to inform him of because he doesn't really know that much about the Sharks. Still, the link to the "Plethora of Pathetic Playoff Performers" is a bit of a punch to the gut.
