The conversation predominantly focused on whether it would be Chris Long or the more heavily favored Glenn Dorsey.&nbsp; Word around had been that Dorsey was higher rated than Long with many of the coaches prefering him including former interm-head coach Jim Haslett. In the end Long supposedly jumped up the draft board the day before the draft. Now whoever was responsible for this whether it be John Shaw or Billy Devaney or even Linehan(doubt it), I believe they made the right choice. The Rams drafted the ultimate safe pick Chris Long.&nbsp; Long gave us multiple bonuses. Not only was he solid player as a rookie who developed more and more each week. He could easily become (Barring major injuries) a conerstone of the Rams defense for years to come.&nbsp; With a defensive minded coach like Spags leading the team i forsee Long developing into an end comparable to Patrick Kerney (seahawks) or even better.
