Off-Topic Friday: The debut of Eric's Swog Stories

About a month ago, I had to go to the bathroom.

I was in quite a bit of a hurry, and when that happens, I don't take the necessary precautions. In other words, I don't look before I sit. After the incident (which will be laid out in detail in a second, I was lucky enough to find my phone alongside me. What happened next would never be forgotten.

Looking back on the whole ordeal, I have so many unanswered questions.

Why didn't I just take the few seconds it would take to double check where I would be landing? How did I stay stuck for so long? Why didn't I call out for help? Why did I feel like tweeting the whole disaster was the most logical next step?

I am thankful for the support and advice of the ~~billions~~ ~~millions~~ dozens of twitter folks during my time. It would have been a much more depressing night without you all.

Really enjoyable piece by Brian Schroeder of Hardwood Paroxysm about the long and random journey of Garrett Temple. Brian's written the same type of article about Jeff Adrien. For some reason that matters. Anyways, take a look at it, it's good times.

Last but certainly not least, GEICO released a new "happier than" commercial, this one starring retired shot blocker Dikembe Mutumbo. That should be enough to get you to watch it. It's the best. Ever.
