Raiders Rushing
SportsMumboJumbo.com
The talent is there with Darren McFadden, Michael Bush, and Just Fargas, thats obvious. Is the lack of a rushing threat due to the o-line being so bad? Or is it that defenses completely do not respect Jamarcus Russell and are stacking 8 in the box everytime. The lack of Wide Receivers depth obviously hurts them too. But what do you think is the main reason for the failed running game this year.
Season is basically over, so why not.........
Put in Josh Freeman!!! 0-4 throw in the towel, its over. The 2009 season was fun while it lasted but now its time to think about the future. Bring in the guy who you drafted to do exactly that. I really do not know why they are hesitating, I know coaches do not like to throw their rookies out into the wolves, but the more experience Freeman has, the better. How much longer do you think it will be til they make the switch.
Wide Receivers inconsistency
The Raiders game was a complete one side dominated game. The Texans looked like the playoff team they were talked up to be all preseason. The only concern I have iwth the team is the Wide Receivers on and off again games. Last week A. Johnson goes for one of the biggest games of his carreer only to be backed up by a 2 catch preformance. His first game of the year was pretty crappy too. Last year every game he had at least 6-8 catches and 80 yards it seems like. They need to get him more involved.
Can lightning strike twice?
As we all know the Lions go to their bitter rivals this week, the Chicago Bears. Do you think this Stafford led Lions team will be riding so high on confidence after snapping their 19 game losing streak last week that they might actually be able to pull of back to back victories since god knows when? Or will Cutler smash their dreams and do what is expected? I think it will be a close game either way.
Are you falling in the Brett Favre love trap?
I hope you guys do not forget what Brett did with the Jets last year. Basically dominated the first half of the season, took down the only remaining undefeated team in the Tennesee Titans and all just to fizzle out at the end. He is also a QB that can make a ton of mistakes, and if he did not make that lest second pass to Greg Lewis how excited would you really be as your QB? Do you think he will fizzle like last year?
Most Important game of the Season for the Pats
With Sunday quickly approaching Patriots and even Ravens for that matter have to wonder if this game is the most important one of the season. This is really more of a telling game for the Patriots though. After being beaten by the Jets the Pats are on the verge of losing their respect as one of the NFL's top dogs. This will confirm Brady is not Brady as I can not remember the time the guy has lost back to back games.

Will the Texans make the Playoffs?
I know I know, its been the same old rocky start for the Houston Texans. Expectations high from the start and they fall out from the gate. But lets looks at this. The Texans did not even come close in Week 1 lets be honest, but it was against one of the best teams not just in the AFC but in the NFL. There 2nd week win although the Titans don't look good they are probably the best 0-3 team in a long while. Finally last week's loss was a neck and neck game with a very good Jaguars team. They have talent obviously, but will they put it to use for the remainder of the year?
Will the Ravens Go 16-0
Absolutly a premature post with only 3 games played but you have to admit the Ravens are looking dam good. If the Ravens can pull of a win this Sunday watch out. Flacco is looking like he has been in the league for about 10 years now. Brady on the other hand is looking much less impressive then he has in the past, but again a poor mans brady is still better then 90% of the league. It is very possible for the win on Sunday, how possible is it that they go 16-0?
Are you excited about the 49ers chances?
Give me a break, obviously what every 49ers fan is saying about last Sunday's loss to Favre's Vikings. San Fran should be 3-0 heading into a game that honestly they should easily win against the Rams. Instead they are obviously 2-1 due to a hail mary with no time left. But the game showed that the 49ers are for real and they are a legitimate contender this year. I personally think they have a great chance to make it to the Supre Bowl.
Henne or Thigpen
With the recent aquisition in Tyler Thigpen many Dolfans are wondering where the direction of this team is going. Who will be starting the remainder of the year, who will be the future of the franchise, who do the fans even want as their future for that matter? Thigpen is proven, he did some good things with KC, Henne has limited action in 2 years and has not shown to much during his time on the field. Which QB would you rather have start the remainder of the year?
Will Rodgers Start All 16 Games?
Obviously tough question to answer and of course I hope he does. But with the recent offensive line trouble the Packers have been having is it fair to say Rodger's gmaes this year will be limited. I say this not only for Packers fans but for Rodger's fantasy owners who drafted him early and are banking on him, should start early looking for a backup Quarter Back .
What do you guys think?
Is Jamarcus Russell a bust yet?
Ok, I think we can officially label this guy a bust. I know he has two rookie QBs which is hard on any QB but he has shown no signs of getting better. Thoughts?
I know its way to early and maybe this should be for another article/poll but do you think Hayward Bay will come into his own within a few years? Another scary Raiders pick right there. Time will tell on him just like it did with J Rus
