Better than our record shows? Well, lately we have been.

On the whole of the season, as far as total points scored vs total points allowed, we have been one of the worst teams in the league.  However, we are the only team in this group that is actually...

Sterling versus Baron: Pot versus Kettle

It's really not that Sterling was wrong in his heckling---because how can you disagree that Baron should never shoot threes?---it's just that he, of all people, really hasn't earned the right to heckle anyone.

Poll: How many double-doubles will Blake Griffin have this season?

Watching this Portland game, it got me thinking.  As long as the other team isn't making 75% of their shots, Blake Griffin is going to get his rebounds naturally, as he just seems to find the ball....

The Recipe

Great article, but this part is confusing: "Contrary to what many believe, signing the 'big name' free agents to max-contract deals isn’t necessarily a shortcut to the Larry O’Brien trophy. In fact, out of the last six championship teams, there have only been two significant starters that came via free agency; Rasho Nesterovic of the San Antonio Spurs in 2005, and Ron Artest of the Los Angeles Lakers in 2010. The past six Finals MVPs came onto their teams by way of the draft." I don't think there's really a huge difference between getting big time players through trades (Shaq or Pau Gasol or Ray Allen or Kevin Garnett) or free agency---either way, it's not through the draft. I mean, both LeBron and Bosh were technically both trade acquisitions, not free agency pickups (The Summer of Free Agency The Summer of Trade Exemptions). Anyways, he goes on to talk about free agents being important to build a foundation, so I get what he's saying. The rest of the article is a great read, too.

Lasting Impressions - Sekou Smith

Nice article about EJ's emergence as a defensive stopper. This is an article that had to be written after that RIDICULOUS shut-down of that Turkish guard in yesterday's game. I think we all knew he had it in him, but now the rest of the world does too.

We're not the only ones who think LBJ should be a Clipper

If you watched the Cavs game last night, LBJ came over and told Blake to sit tight, not rush back, and take his time getting healthy.  They speculated that it's because LBJ could possibly become a...
