My name is Brandon. I am a photographer/webmaster/columnist/journalist for the Kern Valley Sun, in Lake Isabella Ca (www.kvsun.com) . It is a small resort town about 45 minutes east of Bakersfield. I have been a diehard Angel fan since about 6 years old. I am now 23. I have a 3-year-old daughter. She has been to over 30 MLB games. Her first was August 21 2007, Garret Anderson's 10 RBI game over the yanks. I manage to make my way to 8 - 10 games a season, but my real highlight is spring training. The past five seasons I have made my way out to Tempe, Az for Cactus League Baseball. I normally stay for 4 or 5 days, and see all kinds of great teams. My all time favorite Angel is Darin Erstad. I think he played the game right, was damn fun to watch, and had grit and heart rarely seen in today's players.

No FanFest next season...

This is my first time doing a fanpost, so I hope I don't mess it up.
I received an email this morning from Tim Mead, informing me that there would NOT be a FanFest this year. I received the following in the email:
Brandon:
Good morning and thank you for the note. There will not be a FanFest
next year. We have six weekends scheduled for possible off-road events
here at the stadium, and then have to report earlier to spring training.
Thus, we will not have an event.
Take care of yourself and have a great holiday season ahead.
