Big Blue View What's up with a 1st and 2nd round draft picks?

Camp is days away and we need our WRs in camp in a big way. We spend the entire off season beating that dead horse and as far as I can tell, I haven't seen Boo on Hicks signing. I know Reese is taking care of business, but get these guys signed already. They need the practice and we need them.

Will they sign this weekend?

Will Hicks be a hold out?

Will both WRs be a hold out?

Big Blue View Reese likes Boldin more than Edwards

Report: Giants likely to inquire about Boldin

Anquan Boldin - WR - ARZ - Apr. 16 - 9:38 am et

Though the Giants haven't approached the Cardinals about Anquan Boldin yet, "several NFL sources" expect them to explore the option.
The Giants seem to prefer Braylon Edwards' vertical skill to Boldin's physical game, but that could change if the Browns don't lower their asking price. The Newark Star-Ledger thinks GM Jerry Reese has "already placed a call" to Arizona and hears that Reese has Boldin rated higher than Edwards overall. Apr. 16 - 9:38 am et

Big Blue View Giants give DE Canty six-year, $42 million deal

Giants give DE Canty six-year, $42 million deal <!-- p class="post-info-author">By Adam Schefter</p -->

The New York Giants continue making bold moves to shore up their defense.

One day after signing DT Rocky Bernard and LB Michael Boley, the Giants signed free-agent DE Chris Canty to a six-year, $42 million contract that includes $17.25 million in guaranteed money. Now Dallas’ loss is New York’s gain.

Dallas could not afford to keep Canty, and the Green Bay Packers were trying to arrange for him to visit the team. But Sunday afternoon, Canty took the Giants’ offer.

The Giants have gotten defensive. Again.

Oh man, the G-Men didn't like not winning another superbowl and continue to take steps to fix that. With these pickups, I can't wait to see what happens at the Draft.

It made me wear my MId-season gear out this weekend. While having to deal with all the "NEW" Steeler fans and the truely confused Cowboy fans, I walk with a step that promises to be a great year to come.
