In tonight's game thread I was struck by a comment daveh33 made about Trayce Thompson, in light of a 2 HR night, that he would be "a monster" if he ever learned how to take a walk. That seems true of so many young hitters, maybe OF in particular, especially on the heels of Marcell Ozuna's 2 HR game the night before and Jonathan Garcia's crazy-hot start. I thought it might be fun to make a list of potential monster OF, super raw, super toolsy guys in the low minors.

Given the way Eric Hosmer struggled with an aggressive promotion from Low to High A last year, I'm surprised the Royals are using the same tactic with Wil Myers. Granted, his production in the Midwest League has been very strong (unlike Hosmer's last year) but his defense is still a work in progress and it seems like he could benefit from a more deliberate development path. We've heard he may have to move off catcher eventually - is this a signal that it's happening even faster than expected?

I know you guys hate/ignore these fantasy posts for the most part, so I'll keep it brief.

I'm down to my last prospect keeper slot, and can only keep one of: Wilmer Flores, Wilson Ramos, Danny Espinosa, and Carlos Triunfel. Who do you keep? Why?

No boring details about my league or my team. I'm interested in hearing how you feel about these guys and their offensive potential with everything else held equal. Do you take the high ceiling guy? The high probability guy? The narrow position guy? Which one of these 4 has the best combination of those attributes?

I can only keep one. Who should it be? Why?

With MLB.com and maybe others reporting that Michael Young has agreed to slide over to 3B, that clears the way for Elvis Andrus to be the Opening Day shortstop.

As someone who owns Andrus in a lifetime keeper league, I'm excited for the kid but nervous that he's being rushed. His defense looks to be waaaaay ahead of his offense at this point, and he doesn't turn 21 until late August.

What do you guys think? Is he ready?
