SBNATION NBA 2k12 tournament
I just thought of this and I think sbnation should organize a NBA 2k12 tournament. You can play online. It would be really fun and I think I should be the representative for the Wizards. I can kill anyone with them and I use a 10 man lineup so effectively. I dare anyone to challenge me haha. But it would be cool if every sbnation NBA blog picked a player to represent their team and see who wins. Maybe a little prize or something, or just pride. What do you guys think?
Chris Singleton is the Reggie Miller of Defense
I've loved watching Chris Singleton play and during the Knicks game I realized how he is the Reggie Miller of defense. The way Reggie would talk trash and get in peoples head and just annoy them, I see that in Chris. For example, during the Knicks during an inbounds pass by the Knicks, Singleton was just right on Melo and got Melo to shove him. He seems to always be pissing people off and always talking, which I like. But the thing that made Miller so annoying was that he would talk crap andjust dominate you, which got even more in his opponents head. I think once Chris becomes more used to NBA defense and how to guard superstars(which i believe will be done by the beginning of the next season at the longest) he will be able to talk crap and then lock you up. I'm really gonna say we got the pick of the year
ANdray Blatche vs. Trevor Booker : NBA Statscube
Hey guys, I'm not sure if this should be a fanshot, but everyone should look at this. It's pretty obvious to i think almost everyone that Blatche plays lazy and we suffer heavily when he's in the game. But for any doubters, just please look at this, it shows just how big a difference it is. In less way less minutes, Booker is doing better at basically everything.

Little Nick Young reminder
I love Jordan crawford, i wanted the Wizards to draft him, but i'm tired of all the criticism of Young. People need to remember stuff like this. and this :

I really like the idea of Wall being able to kick it out to spot up shooters like Young and Barnes and even Blatche. Crawfords a beast but he's not a spot up shooter, he's a baller and he really does need to be like the other J. Crawford, just coming in for Wall or Young and pushing the tempo. With either Wall or Crawford in all the time our team will never lack energy.
My 1st Game (Advice?)
This was the highlights from my first league game. I'm #2, and i had 20 points, including 13 in the 1st 4 minutes. And if u watch me after my first 3, i do the Can't Feel My Face in honor of Deshawn. Also after my second 3 i had another 1 right after but it wasn't filmed, i started out on fire. Please watch and tell me what you think about my game. P.S. How they keep screaming Dre-Dub, thats my nickname.
Can The Wizards Sign Xavier Henry?
I'm just wondering if the Wizards would be able to sign him since memphis won't. Is that allowed? Anyone who knows anything about this please discuss down here because that would be sick if we could get him. That would be a pretty beast young core with Wall, Henry, Blatche, & McGee. Then next year we could draft a beast SG and we'd be set for the future in my opinion. And I know Nick Young has been a dissapointment, but what if he reached his maximum potential. With a starting lineup of Wall, Young, Henry, Blatche, and McGee would be as good as any team.
Even more proof of Lebron being an A-hole (Video)
Just watch him. A ballboy is trying to get Lebron's warmups as he checks in the game, but Lebron just throws them on the ground (multiple times).Maybe the 1st layer of clothes he doesn't see the ballboy (although i doubt it), but there's no way he couldn't have seen him the rest of the times
Rick Kamla Talks Andray Blatche, Lebron's Arrogance
Rick Kamla basically has a series called Rick's Rant, where he rambles on about random NBA things. I really like Rick and these segments. This latest one is a 7 minute long one in which he talks about Andray Blatche. Basically for 3 minutes he talks about his skill and how he needs to settle his ego down. Then the rest of the video he lists 10 players who could be the next Andray Blatche, so basically underachievers with potential. Javale McGee and Nick Young are both in there, and he says Javale has the most potential and could be a guy like Marcus Camby(which i think is a pretty good comparision). So here's the link

I think the link is actually for his rant about Lebron James, but watch that too because he just talks about how arrogant he is. Just scroll down and the Andray rant is right there. So watch them both and tell me what you think in comments. Thanks!
Random Gilbert Reference
This is completely random but i just thought i'd show you guys. It's Ron Browz music video for the song cheese & crackers and he references Gilbert about 35 seconds in (he actually uses Wizard jerseys). The song is horrible but I'm really bored, so here's the link. And i know this should probably be a fanshot, but i couldn't figure out how to make one, sorry.

2010 Draft Possibilities
This is just a simple post wondering how you guys feel about next years draft. Since we are gonna have a high pick, which players besides John Wall do you guys like? I personally like Derrick Favors, Al-Farouq Aminu, Demarcus Cousins, and Xavier Henry. Since we already have young big men(Blatche and Javale) and young guards(Young and Foye), maybe a versatile SF like Aminu would be the best choice for us, unless of course we can get Wall. But if the Wizards don't have Young in their future plans, I would like Henry, because he is a mature 2 guard. He's also very big and talented for his position, could maybe even play a little SF. What do you guys think?
Trade Talked about on NBA TV ( J.R. Smith)
On The Beat on NBA TV they were talking about possible Western Conference teams making trades, and the Wizards were mentioned. They were saying that the Nuggets are looking for a center, and that they are trying to get rid of J.R. Smith, so they mentioned maybe something involving Smith for Brenden. I like this trade because i really love Smith's game, but i know we already have enough underachieving, young knuckleheads so it might not be a good idea. I think it might be worth it because since we are going into rebuilding mode, Smith is a very good young player with a lot of potential. Also Haywood being traded would give Javale and Andray more minutes to develop. Just wondering what you guys think, would you want this trade?
