Die-Hard Jaguar fan since 95'.........born in Utah, moved to Jacksonville at 3 months of life..... I think i had spots and cat-like reflexes back then too. I love football and cant really sit and watch any other team sports. I also like boxing and MMA. You know the "MAN" sports(no disrespect intended). I play with my kids(2 boys....Xavier and Alex) in my free time and when i get some personal time......Im checking to see if the Jags have made any moves.

Soooooooo... Is the draft tonight?
anonymous bwahahaha
What is the QB Consensus?
With the draft a little over a month away, I wanted to make a poll to determine the fan favorite to become the Jaguars next potential quarterback. Regardless of draft pick value or the possibilities of trading up(down), who would you trust the most to be leading our offense into war every Sunday? I would think the fan favorite would be Ponder, but I have noticed an uprise in interest for Colin Kaepernick as first noted by Alfie's man crush. Newton or Gabbert are not off limits. Though the chance of us trading away our draft picks for them are low, base your vote on who is best fit to lead the Jaguars to a championship. Please feel free to elaborate in the comments section...
Ryan Mallett runs a 5.37 at Arkansas Pro Day
I wonder why he is sooooooooo slow. This guy needs a fantastic offensive line to compliment his speedy feet.
Reggie Nelson The Pro Bowler Strong Safety?
This needs intervention! How many games did the Bengals win last year?
(below added by Alfie)
And most could argue, the Bengals won the trade. Jones allowed a passer rating of 114.6 with the Jaguars to quarterbacks targeting players he covered. Jones didn't post any defensive snaps after week eight until he played a handful of defensive snaps during the final game of the regular season. For whatever reason, the Jaguars re-signed Jones.
The Bengals greatly benefited from the trade, picking up Reggie Nelson who would become a significant contributor throughout the second-half of the season. Nelson only allowed a passer rating of 30.4 to quarterbacks targeting players he covered while posting 51 tackles. Only nine of 20 pass attempts found players he covered and for the season, he only allowed 146 yards receiving. No touchdowns allowed, two passes intercepted and seven passes defensed, the Bengals clearly picked up a contributor that helped fill in for an injured Chris Crocker.
Freddie T. Makes The Top 10
Fred Taylor's 90 yd TD run vs. the Dolphins makes the Top 10 Playoff Runs according to NFL.com. I saw it there and I was thinking before I clicked it, "They better have Fred's run on there."

Thanks to my boy Reggie for informing me of this. Not really a fan of Lil Wayne, but to be mentioned by a artist in a song is huge. That means you are a beast and everyone knows it.

4:48 PM ETWill the Jags surprise everyone and emerge as a playoff team this season?
Jamie Dukes, NFL Network
Good question. I want to see them get presser on D first.Frank, Jacksonville, FL
4:56 PM ETPressure on D? The Jags had 3 sacks last week and Kampman alone hit the QB 6 times. What game were you watching?
Jamie Dukes, NFL Network
Did you say they had 6 Sacks... The question is and will continue to be if they can get pressure on the QB.

11:57 AM ETThanks for being the only one to praise our #10 pick Tyson Alualu. We got just what we asked for when he overpowered All-Pro tackle Ryan Clady and another lineman trying to double team him for his first NFL sack. You sure do have an eye for talent Mike!
Mike Mayock, NFL Network
Hey Frank. Aaron Kampman got a lot of credit for getting to the QB on Sunday, but football is a team game, and Alualu helped him tremendously. He's quick, he's disruptive and he has a great motor. Gene Smith has an eye for talent, and I love both Kampman and Alualu ... and btw, don't forget Terrence Knighton, their third-round pick from a year ago. He's a big NT, a nice fit next to Alualu.

12:14 PM ETHow come you only like to report negative stuff about my Jaguars? You want them to move to LA huh.........
Jason La Canfora, NFL Network
Huh? I love what Gene Smith is doing down there in what's an uphill battle in a very tough division. I hope the Jags can get back to their glory days and get the kind of support it takes to have an NFL team in a small marker like that.

Jags cut roster to 75
Rookie defensive tackle D’Anthony Smith and center John Estes were placed on injured reserve. The following players were waived: first-year center Cecil Newton, second-year defensive end Julius Williams, rookie cornerback Josh Gordy and rookie wide receiver Roren Thomas.
