Projected Depth Chart 2012
With all the excitement surrounding this years recruiting class, I decided to take some time and look at what this team will look like when guys like Wilder and Karlos Williams get in the grove of things. I know I probably got some positions wrong, but I just wanted to show how stacked FSU is becoming with talent....

NCAA Tourny Prediction
Lets be honest, it's been awhile since FSU and NCAA tournament we're more than a "bubble team who wont make the tournament this year" conversation.
I had to suffer through years of guys like Big Jelly....

The life and times of Big Jelly
So sue me if I'm excited that I get to root for more than my poorly constructed brackets in March.
That being said, I'd like to get The Nation's thoughts on how far the Noles will make it in the NCAA tournament...
Projected Two Deep
I just wanted to throw out my projection for the depth chart come Labor Day vs. da U. And yes, I do still write for this site.

Looking Forward
In the time between now and when the Gator's bad karma catches up to them. Lets take a look at a few skill position players that return that should make you happy to still be a diehard seminole fan....
Also inside:
- The ACC Blogger Awards. I voted. Other Noleblogs forgot to :(
- Remember not to believe everything you read, such as James Davis to the NFL draft...
- Tracing the latest Jimbo Rumor
- Some are taking note of the Nole's tournament chances.
- Still don't Trust FEI, AOE, and ADE (the 3 best statistical measures of a team's strength, as they take out garbage time data and have been amazingly able to adjust for opponent strength)?? They predicted Boise State to beat Oklahoma in 2006, as their data had Boise ranked ahead of OU. They called for Hawaii to get crushed by UGA in 2008 as they felt Hawaii was the 53rd best team in America. Their best Mid Major team since 2003? Urban Meyer's 2004 Utah team (5th overall). This year's Utah team? 23rd overall. Bama wagerers, take notes.
Sizing 'em Up
I think it needs to be noted the change in the size of player that Jimbo and Co are starting to bring in, lets start with a look at the WR position….
Tommy Bowden's Impact on FSU
![]()
With Tommy Bowden "stepping down" what impact will this have on FSU?
Will FSU pick up interest/commitments from former Tiger recruits?
Will FSU have an inside track on game planning for Clemson?
Will there be another Bowden on staff?
Will this have any impact on how much longer Bobby coaches?
Will Ann finally root for Bobby?
Will Tommy and Jeff be remembered the same way?

I'd like to hear the readers' thoughts; post what you think might come of this recent development...
Overrated?
I got into an argument with a fan of a team from
Anyway, he was trying to tell me that
The greatest college QB of all time?

We all know that Tim Tebow's tears cure cancer. I mean that's a given. I started thinking about Tebow, and they keep calling him the best college qb ever. Why dont they ever talk about this....
Off Topic, but still interesting
The difference in talent level in last night's USC @ Oregon State game was immense. Lets take a quick look at recruiting rankings. What does

's really mean?
A Look into the Future...
With all the doom and gloom that comes with a Florida State loss, I thought I should give a reason for optimism, and give a glimpse into the FSUSkot crystal ball....

What other coaches are saying... "Two QB System"
Les Miles, during an interview with ESPN radio had some interesting comments on a two qb system.....
What makes this Wake game different?
I'm listening to the Jeff Cameron show and it got me thinking. What is different this year that is in the favor of the Noles vs. Wake Forest. What is it this year that will put FSU over the top?

Still open to quite a few schools. Seems to be Jimbo's number one target for the class of 2009. But that being said, not a huge position of need and would not be a huge disappointment if FSU did not sign a qb this class. Seems to be the only QB that FSU is recruiting heavily at this point. |
