With all the excitement surrounding this years recruiting class, I decided to take some time and look at what this team will look like when guys like Wilder and Karlos Williams get in the grove of things. I know I probably got some positions wrong, but I just wanted to show how stacked FSU is becoming with talent....

Lets be honest, it's been awhile since FSU and NCAA tournament we're more than a "bubble team who wont make the tournament this year" conversation.
I had to suffer through years of guys like Big Jelly....

So sue me if I'm excited that I get to root for more than my poorly constructed brackets in March.
That being said, I'd like to get The Nation's thoughts on how far the Noles will make it in the NCAA tournament...

In the time between now and when the Gator's bad karma catches up to them. Lets take a look at a few skill position players that return that should make you happy to still be a diehard seminole fan....

- Still don't Trust FEI, AOE, and ADE (the 3 best statistical measures of a team's strength, as they take out garbage time data and have been amazingly able to adjust for opponent strength)?? They predicted Boise State to beat Oklahoma in 2006, as their data had Boise ranked ahead of OU. They called for Hawaii to get crushed by UGA in 2008 as they felt Hawaii was the 53rd best team in America. Their best Mid Major team since 2003? Urban Meyer's 2004 Utah team (5th overall). This year's Utah team? 23rd overall. Bama wagerers, take notes.

Will there be another Bowden on staff?
Will this have any impact on how much longer Bobby coaches?

Still open to quite a few schools. Seems to be Jimbo's number one target for the class of 2009. But that being said, not a huge position of need and would not be a huge disappointment if FSU did not sign a qb this class. Seems to be the only QB that FSU is recruiting heavily at this point. |
