Fear The Sword LeBron James Thanks Cleveland Fans

Cleveland fans received a long awaited thank you from former Cleveland Cavalier LeBron James as he made his first public appearance since signing with the Miami Heat last month.

During James' annual "King for Kids" charity bike-a-thon held in his hometown of Akron, James took the podium and addressed the surprisingly friendly crowd of four hundred.

"To the city of Cleveland, my fans in Cleveland, my fans in northeast Ohio," said James, "I want to say thank you for the last seven years and the years that continue to go in the future."

Just last week James had taken out a full page a full page newspaper ad in the Akron Beacon Journal where he thanked the city of Akron for all its support while simultaneously snubbing Cleveland.

Fear The Sword Lesson Learned: Don't Mess with Cleveland Fans

Cleveland Indian fans chant and heckle a spectator wearing a LeBron James Miami Heat Jersey.

If there was any doubt that Cleveland had some of the most dedicated, loyal fans in all of sports, think again.

A spectator who was sporting a LeBron James Miami Heat jersey drew the crowd into a frenzy in the sixth inning of last nights' Cleveland Indians game was escorted out of the ballpark by security personnel.

Hundreds of fans seated in Progressive Field's left-field bleacher section started chanting obscenities and pointing at the man in the sixth inning of last nights Indians game against the New York Yankees. As the man was escorted out of Progressive Field a number of fans followed him towards the gate as they began yelling more derisive chants and throwing debris.

Fear The Sword Ex-Cav Lorenzen Wright Found Dead

Today, Memphis authorities found the body of former Cleveland Cavalier and University of Memphis basketball player Lorenzen Wright. Police officials located the body in a heavily wooded area southeast of Memphis. Reports say Wright was a victim of multiple gunshots and was robbed of tens of thousands of dollars.

Missing since July 19, Wright was believed to have been carrying a significant amount of money when he was last seen in downtown Memphis.

A Memphis native, Wright was in town to visit a number of friends and his six children. He was expected to drive back to Atlanta with his children and a friend the day of his disappearance.

Wright was somewhat of a hometown hero to the Memphis area as he played for the University of Memphis and later for the Memphis Grizzlies. Lorenzen Wright joined the Cavaliers in 2008 and played only one season in Cleveland.

Although he only spent one year in Cleveland, Lorenzen Wright will be missed by fans and loved ones alike. Please keep the Wright family in your thoughts and prayers.
