Cary Harris was drafted to replace Jenkins as Gunner!
Ellis Lankster is loaded with talent and would've been taken higher but has a troubled past-he serves no potential as a Gunner but does as a return specialist! One of these guys will be on the final roster and thee other is practice squad at best.
Round 6, Cary Harris, FS-CB USC, 5-11, 187
Positives: Physical at the line of scrimmage, supports the run and tackles willingly. SERVED AS GUNNER ON SPECIAL TEAMS.
Negatives: Average ball skills, durability an issue.
Summary: Good-sized corner with physical element to his game. Physical style could open the door for a transition to safety.
Round 7, Ellis Lankster, CB West Virginia, 5-9, 191
Positives: Competes for the ball like a receiver, attacks it in the air.
Negatives: Inconsistent versus the run. Character needs to be evaluated (was arrested for transferring and receiving stolen property - laptop computer - completed a diversion program and was suspended three games).
Summary: Caught some interest at the Senior Bowl. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Could this be our Starting O-Line?
LT-Levi Jones LG-Andy Levitre C-Eric Wood RG-Brad Butler RT-Langston Walker
It might explain a few things and looks like it would have a lot of potential and really solidify our O-Line while we continue the development Demetrius Bell. I think this option could be available to us in the very near future with the Bengals having drafted Tackle Andre Smith? I am not sure on Levi Jones health or overall situation, but I do know that he's been a very good Tackle in the past and should be more than servicable for at least the short term if Demetrius Bell's the long term answer once he's prepared.

Cushing and Matthews might have Tested Clean?
From NFL.com
A website that focuses on the NFL draft recently reported that some draft-eligible players had tested positive for drugs. However, an NFL spokesman refuted that report Friday, saying “neither the 32 clubs nor the league office know the results of drug or steroid tests taken at the 2009 Combine.”
“The independent medical advisors who administer the tests have notified in writing those players –- and only those players -– who tested positive at the Combine,” the spokesman said in a statement. “Unfortunately, rumors about draft-eligible players, including rumors about test results, begin to circulate every year at this time. Many of these rumors are circulated for self-serving reasons, and they are terribly unfair to the players and their families.”
USC coach Pete Carroll was quick to defend Trojans LBs Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews, both of whom were named in the report. Carroll said he had talked to the drug-testing service and that Cushing and Matthews were cleared.
“These rumors are absolutely false,” said Carroll, according to USC’s official website. “If they were found positive, Clay and Cush would have been notified three weeks ago, which they weren’t, and all of the NFL teams would have been notified, too, which they weren’t.
“They’re both men of outstanding character and they never tested positive for anything here,” Carroll said. “This is an major example of irresponsible reporting, and the site that published this report should be ashamed of themselves.”
A lawyer at Athletes First, which represents Matthews, sent an e-mail to the website in question, saying, “Neither Clay nor our office has received notification of any positive test, whether for steroids or any banned substance.”
The lawyer also pointed out that the league hasn’t received the results of the drug tests and that teams haven’t been notified either.
Illinois CB Vontae Davis was also mentioned in the report. His representatives at France All Pro Athlete Management Inc. issued the following statement: “Neither Vontae nor our office has received any notification of any positive test, whether for marijuana or any other banned substance. In addition, we have been informed by several of our NFL contacts that they have not been notified of any drug testing results from the combine.”

Matthews and Cushing juicing?
Ed. Note, by Brian Galliford: Thanks to Fam_1st for posting this, apparently in the wee hours of the morning. It should be noted that this is NOT confirmed - but if true, it's a big hit on a prospect that the Buffalo Bills like (Matthews).
I don't know at all if this is true but I thought it would be interesting to find out more because I don't want to make the mistake and waste a first or second round draft pick on the next Tony Mandarich or Brian Bosworth and have guys who could play in college because they were cheating to improve their physical abilities and then come into the NFL and get themselves torn up.

A look at our Monday Night Showdown for Redemption
Yes-I want revenge in this one! That game last year was as dull as can be, and im hoping with a victory that it spins us in the opposite direction and out of this downward spiral! Then again I hope this downward spiral does'nt continue. Now we know that the weather is'nt looking that great for this one and that Trent so far has never played well at all in bad weather(he has'nt played all that good lately in good weather)-Im hoping he throws for 5 Touchdowns and looks like a star out there but im not betting on it. The Browns are also well rested since they played their last game the previous thursday and had sunday to sit back and watch us!(bad memories) And do not be fooled by their record-this team has a new quarterback that could jump start this high powered offense that was predicted to be one of the best in the game after their surge last season!
Last week against the Broncos, the Browns did look good and I know they gave up a fair amount of points along with 449 yards through the air and Eddie Royal burned them deep for a 93 yard TD reception so Lee Evans should be looking to do the same, But most teams do give up their share of points to the Broncos pass happy offense, The Browns defensive scheme is based out of the 3-4 defense which has lately been our achilles heal, and hopefully this week our coaching staff has finally put together a different game plan than the prior 3 weeks to combat it!(congratulations guys-it's about time)
We need to look out for D'Qwell Jackson-he's the most fiery playmaker they have on that defense and currently leads the league in tackles! Shaun Rogers is also quietly having a very productive season clogging the running lanes with 47 tackles and 4 sacks. At corner 2nd year player Eric Wright is leading the way with 3 interceptions and has returned one back for 94 yards-so we know if he gets his hands on it he can go the distance, and scouring the middle will be underrated safety Brodney Pool who can hit-and create turnovers with his instincts in coverage. Their biggest threat as a pure pass rusher is Kamerion Wimbley who has not had a good season thus far getting to the quarterback but has applied pressure all season(remind you of someone we miss?)-and had a sack last week against the broncos. Overall the Browns defense has created turnovers and has a plus 4 difference in turnover ratio to their opponents, but we should be able to put up a lot of yards on these guys and move the chains since their Defense yields the 27th most yards allowed in the league and does not have any particular strong point. WE CAN MOVE THE CHAINS and better consistently against this Defense!!
We all know about Josh Cribbs and their return game being very dangerous so enough said-Lets get him down quick and keep him and the field position contained!
On offense it will be a bit of a mystery as Brady Quinn has taken over and only had one start so we don't have much film on him to know his tendencies other than from last thursday night and in college, we do know that he was very good in his first start and did'nt make any mistakes, he threw for 2 TD's and was very accurate and would have looked better had it not been for some bad hands by Kellen Winslow and dropped balls. Now overall they're loaded at the skill positions with Braylon Edwards, Winslow and even more so that Donte Stallworth is now healed up and starting-we know he is one of the best run after catch recievers in the league so lets hit him hard and quick! Jamal Lewis had a very good game against us last year and we know what to expect from him and having snow on the forecast only caters to his smashmouth style-(Jamal Lewis I'd like to introduce you to Marcus Stroud and Paul Posluzny. Other than that we know that the left side of their O-Line is very good with 2nd year player-3rd overall pick and probowler Joe Thomas, and also Eric Steinbach(who we should have signed in free agency instead of Dockery for the same amount of money)There O-line unit as a whole has ONLY GIVEN UP 11 SACKS on the season .
I can't wait untill monday night-even though I wont be at the game I can still get a feel of the atmosphere and it's a rush under the lights of that big national stage!
Go Bills-Fam1ly F1rst!

Edwards subconsciously Telegraphing!
Has anyone else noticed that Edwards is giving away and telegraphing which way the run is going with the way he has his leg out and angled at the line, when he should be semetrical when taking the snap??? He'll have one leg forward and which ever direction the handoff is going and the play is designed to goin he'll have the other leg turned at an angle in that direction as if he's getting a head start!!!!AAGGGHHHHH! This is rediculous that an NFL coordinator is not catching this or else just not doing anything about it because he is the one calling the plays and also he is the one who should be correcting Edwards on his technique and positioning at the line! Now by no means is Edwards meaning to to do this-Edwards Telegraphing is done subconsciously! There are lots of things people do without realizing they are doing it to give things away in all types of things they do in everyday life, boxing especially would be an example of it, also poker would be a different kind of example where the players look for tell-tale signs and give aways to nervous habits or trends!--It's called telegraphing. In this case telegraphing the run and what direction the ball is going in--Just watch Edwards himself and the fact that the Patriots linebackers are immediatly headed in the right direction at the snap!!! Please just look it's right there!
I'd like to add that this is by far my favorite Bills webite there is and is by far the most knowledgable and best in touch with whats important to the fans im very happy to join you guys and the community! Thanks Fam1ly F1rst
