What can I say? I am a naturalized Canadian (originally, Hungarian), lived in Vancouver in the 90s, and got hooked on Canucks, hopelessly addicted to them.
Now I live in So. Cal, but can't get myself to root for the local teams. It looks like I am forever a Canucks fan. I have the DirecTV Center Ice package, so I probably saw all their regular season games, without exception.

Maybe you can help me with this, since I am missing the name of the player who was hit, but I do remember who was the hittER. It was Mike Peka who hit somebody, when Mike was playing for the Canucks. I remember that the "victim" almost did a 360 degree spin in the air, backwards, before he hit the ice. It happened close to center-ice. It was huge, and replayed many time on that week.
