I mean, come on...a .315/.392/.667 slash line in Reno?  He hit his 11th HR in 111 AB's since being traded to the Dbacks.  His BABIP is around .300, which is LOWER than what it was for Charlotte earlier this year, when he was only hitting .262 (over only 61 AB's).  Maybe he doesn't have the raw power of CCarter or quite the athleticism of MTaylor, but is he not a top 25 prospect going into next year?  Would he hover in the 30-40 range perhaps?

As an aside: the Pena for Allen deal and now the Rios pickup?  Is Kenny Williams one of the GM's still interested in Smoltz?

I just read this on a Padres forum: http://forum.signonsandiego.com/showthread.php?t=99175.  The veracity of the claim aside, do you think that it is a good time to bring up Latos?  If so, what kind of major league innings regiment would you design?  And if not, when would you bring him up, if at all, this season?
