Athlon Sports predicts Utes to finish 2nd in PAC-12 South...but finish 7-5 (4-5 Pac-12) for the season!?!

I understand not taking the Utes over USC for the PAC-12 South. While I hope to see otherwise, the odds aren't in our favor. But to predict that the team will only win 4 PAC-12 games is ridiculous. Since they suggest that UCLA and UofA will have the some conference record, they think we will drop at least two to either ASU, WSU, or OSU (Colorado is expected to go win-less) and lose to USC, Washington, and Cal. This is a joke. I assume they think Wynn will not be able to finish the season (which is not completely unlikely). Anyway, I wanted to see what the other Utes thought of this.

The Motherstation is now reporting that Safety Greg Allen who committed to Utah last week, has since de-committed and will sign with Kansas. If I'm not mistaken, this kid wasn't even rated when we offered him. Also, as reported by one of the local papers, his only two previous offers were Memphis and New Mexico. Apparently we caused some heads to turn because now he is a three star recruit and is being pursued by bigger names in the area. The only way this move makes sense is that he is a homebody and wants to be closer to home (Houston).

You win some, you lose some; but it is unfortunate to see someone work hard in finding a diamond in the rough, just to have it poached. Sadly, this isn't the first time it has happened to Coach Scalley in Texas and probably won't be the last.
