The team actually had a low-cost rim protector in Fesenko, but failed to use him once he was sufficiently developed to be useful to the Jazz.

My son purchased on the internet a piece of flooring signed by Kyrylo Fesenko, which I treasure. Also, my son has a little plastic statue of Karl Malone on a stand with a basketball in his hand (about 8-9" high).

I think Dante has a Kobe Bryant-esque "boy's body." When Kobe first came into the league as an 18-year old, he had a similar "boy's body." However, Kobe bulked up over the years. Hopefully, Dante can do that too (and be referred to by only one name).

There is not much depth at the shooting guard position in the NBA right now. Perhaps Kevin Murphy can actually develop into an NBA quality SG in the NBDL. It will be interesting to watch.

Hopefully Burke will quickly wise up to what his actual potential is in the NBA, so we don't have to watch a repeat of the disheartening career of Ronnie Brewer.

Yeah, Gobert most likely will end up being the steal of the 2013 draft--in a 2013 draft "do-over," he's a top 3 pick (maybe the top pick). That was an awesome selection at #27--which we bought from Denver for $3 mil. Way to go J-Sloan and DL!!

No one will need to do that, although I'm sure there will be those who do. If Hayward is not able to live up to his contract, he may self-destruct all by himself, or he may become a player that keeps getting traded around like the "Old Maid" card.

There is a lot of behavior in our society that is offensive, boorish behavior, but is not actionable under the law. Shaq's/Burke's comments just may fit in that category.

By putting his selfie out on the internet, he may have changed the legal rules for what constitutes defamation; for example, he might be treated under the law as a public figure, and Shaq's/Burke's comments probably have immunity as "opinion" speech.

He's most likely going to retire. The Jazz might be able to get him to sign if they give him a one-year deal at $2.5 to $3 mil.--which is kind of expensive for what essentially would be another assistant coach.

To the consternation of many Jazz fans, Kelly Dwyer dissed Trey Burke last year by calling him "Utah's mindful backup point guard of the future." Those words are looking more and more prophetic, with Dante Exum's selection by the Jazz.
