Don't normally post on UB's mailbag on ESPN but his last answer of the day where he discussed a realignment question is worth it. He hits the nail on the head and points out how idiotic all of this realignment business is!!

The Texas House of Representatives Higher Education Committee posted notice for a hearing "to discuss matters pertaining to higher education, including collegiate athletics" at the State Capitol on Tuesday. The 2 p.m. meeting will feature invited testimony only, according to the notice.

Four people are on that invitation list: Dan Beebe, commissioner for the Big 12; Richard Box, chairman of the Texas A&M System Board of Regents; A&M President R. Bowen Loftin; and Mike Slive, commissioner of the SEC.
