Interesting Mike Chappell interview by John Oehser
Interesting question and answer. Most of this we know but with his inside spin.
Too funny. I had seen the commercial before but the behind the scenes was new to me.
I know the game didn't go the way we wanted but the intro with the Colts portion was pretty cool.
Sure this has been here before but thought would post again given the weekend. It always gets me ready for gametime. Enjoy.

Joe Addai Injury Update
I have a correction to the news of the Joe Addai injury. I originally suspected he could have a concussion due to the hit he took during the touchdown. After more careful review it appears that the possible concussion occurs at 12:48 into the 2nd quarter where he takes a absolutely nasty helmet to helmet hit with Jets #93 Douglas. He actually appeared dazed. It reminded me of a fighter who just got clocked. It is not surprising the Colts would try to hide this with the stringent new league policy on concussions. I certainly hope he will recover quickly.
Strategy for Bills Game
For the record, I have been a Colts fan since they moved to Indy. I have done some research and the NFL has a rule for forfeiting games. I think the Colts should take advantage of the rule.
The rule states: "The Commissioner, (except in cases of disciplinary action; see last section on "Removing Team from Field"), League President, and their representatives, including referees, are not authorized unilaterally to declare forfeits. A forfeit occurs only when a game is not played because of the failure or refusal of one team to participate. In that event, the other team, if ready and willing to play, is the winner by a score of 2-0."
If the Colts plan to repeat what happened today and since we no longer have anything to play for then why not just forfeit the game. It isn't like we have a problem with quitting. The Bills will not be playing this as a scrimmage game and what is the point in risking anyone getting hurt? Even if you rest the starters there are some positions that we do not have a real backup for (i.e. the O-line). Why not forfeit the game, take two weeks off, go to Disney World, whatever?
It is clear that the management has no real caring for how the fans feel and now that we have lost to the Jets, I could give a damn about the Bills game. It isn't like the media or other teams will think any more poorly than they already do now about our quitting attitude.
