Posting on the Champagne for the second time. . I just spent the weekend in Ohio with my fiance at her 30 year High School reuinion. They play some pretty tough football at her High School. Her senior year they beat Maisillon 30 t0 14. Anyway. she is graduate of YSU in Chemical Engineering with a Masters in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech and cares nothing about CFB. Her family is all Ohio State and I have to hear stuff from them all weekend about the autograph scandel at Tuscaloosa. I basically told them to kiss my booty, in a nice way. We have a great time all weekend, Those people party like Rock stars. On my way home last night, after a few beers at her folks house, a few beers at the airport and right after I order 2 beers on the plane - I plug in my I-pod and put it on shuffle. First song is Kid Rock singing about having a good time in Michigan singing Sweet Home Alabama all night long (I can't remember the name of the song). The next song is Sweet Home Alabama by the Skyner. I'm thinking this thing is on Shuffle, what a coincidence, but I'm really getting fired up. The next song is............wait for it - Ala Freaking Bama - by that time I am feeling pretty good so I am up in the plane singing Ala Freaking Bama - Roll Tide Roll. Needless to say, she's pissed, but I say - this won't happen again in a million years, so I am going to celebrate. Roll Tide - have a good one.

Hello - New Poster from Orlando - I have been around making comments and reading, but first Post - be gentle, reader!

Just got finiished watching A-day game on Bright House again. Had a few Crown's and here I am>

Trent is a beast - if there is someone better than him in CFB, I haven't seen it

Lacy is a stud - glad he qualified - forget about the fumbling (actually was only 2 if I have been reading right) it is over - he is going to be great

Fowler - the real deal - can pound, can run to daylight, can catch out of the back field - we will remember him before he goes to NFL as a Junior

We will miss Dee this year but he will be back  - everyone talks down here about Baby Jesus (Tebow) being the guy who made Fla go. I dont think so. it was Percy Harvin and the wide recievers. Dee is going to be our PH.

I don't care which QB starts - they are both better than 90 per cent of the other QB in CFB.

The defense may be the best there ever was. We will have a pass rush and QB's will fear for their lives. I love the DEEFENSEEE - They will dominate and kick some AAAAA.

There will be a lot of other talented guys who will make an impact this year that we never talk about on this Blog. can't wait to see them.

I am so fired up about the season, that I just bought $330 worth of Bama apparrel on line today. I can't wear anything from last year because it is tainted by the bad breaks and let downs we had. I am starting the new year with new gear that will last till New Orleans. The last Bama NO game I went to was not plesant. I'm planning for a repeat with a better ending.

Forgive my rambling, but i couldn't help it. Seeing the Crimson and White playing again tonight just got me going.

(By the way - anyone going to be in O-Town during the season - JB's has shut down. BAMA group is now at Orlando Ale house on Kirkman Road - bigger and better venue - and we don't have to put up with any more puke UT orange)

They are introducing the players and there is a couple that is talking with a southern drawl. Immediately, I am thinking, maybe I will root for these guys. Later, on the first day, they show this couple on a train and he is yelling at this totally hot chick, calling her an idiot basically and they are barely out of the gate. I'm thinking this guy is some kind of an a--hole and I sure won't be rooting for them. Next shot they are in - he is wearing an Auburn sweatshirt and I said to my girl friend - now I know why he is such a jerk. At the end of the show, guess what - They are the first team eliminated. They have on these pukey orange shirts and sweats, he has on his pukey Awbun hat turned backwards and they are gone. What is so bad is there are some pretty awful teams that they should have beaten on the first day at least. I loved it. Thank god I won't have to watch that pukey Awbun crap the whole season - Good Riddance.

I have been thinking about this for awhile, but didn't finally know there was a possibility until this weekend. Here it is:

When we trash them in the Iron Bowl (and we definately will)

THEY WILL NOT BE GOIING TO A BOWL. THEY WILL BE SITTING AT HOME WATCHING US PLAY THE sec cHAMP GAME AND THE MNC GAME (OR THE SUGAR BOWL, EITHER ONE WILL BE AN HONOR)

I don't think that is going to help recruiting for old TT. He might have to take up hunting ducks full time.
