Pinstripe Alley Metallica at Yankee Stadium

I really love the idea of the Yankees adding concerts and different sporting events at Yankee Stadium. It really brings the vibe of the old old stadium back, especially when it comes to football games. That being said, I have 4 tickets available for General Admission for THE BIG FOUR ( METALLICA, ANTHRAX, SLAYER, MEGADEATH). Wednesday September 14th. $200 each. If anyone is interested leave a comment and I will contact you further.

Let's Go Yankees!

Pinstripe Alley Jeter 3000th?

So I made my final payment for my season tickets today and now is the time for me to sit down and decide which games I will attend this season.

I would really like to see Derek hit 3000.. We all know he will break that milestone this season since he is sitting on 2926... Which leaves only 74 hits left..

My guess is it will take around 75-90 games... Sometime late June to beginning to mid July.. I really hope he hits 3000 in Yankee Stadium but there is a good chance he may get that 3000th hit in Citi Field against the Mets... I'm definitly buying tickets for that entire subway series just incase..

When do you think Derek will get that 3000th hit?

Pinstripe Alley King Felix? Josh Johnson?

After hearing the news on Lee today, the first thing in my head was King Felix and/or Josh Johnson...What will it take to get one of these two Ace's on the Yankees staff before the All Star Break?

I'm really curious....

In my opinion, Seattle will ask for a lot, but I don't know if the Yankees have much of a choice at this point...

I ask Pinstripe Alley, who will the Yankees need to dish out to obtain one of these two aces?

Behind the Steel Curtain NFL MUST APPOLOGIZE! MUST SEE VIDEO! BLOWN CALL!

1st Quarter, 6:58 on the clock; Ravens ball. 3rd & 15,  and the Ravens are pinned back on their own 3yd line.. Joe Flacco drops back for the pass and connects to Boldin for 60yds starting the drive that would result in the Ravens only touchdown of the night!

Too bad the NFL missed the facemask on Troy Palomalu that should have been called and directly affected the play.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch this video and explain to me how a face mask call this aggressive can be missed so easily?

I uploaded the video to youtube, I urge you to watch this and not be pissed off.......

I recorded this video with my iphone but you can get the point!

Pinstripe Alley Old Timers Day 2010

I just bought tickets for Saturday's July 17, 2010...Old Timers Day game. I can't seem to find the start time anywhere... I didn't want to have to make an entire post just for this question but here I am.

I know the game starts at 4:05... What time does this Old Timers Game Start? I'm guessing around 2:45?

Also, does anyone have an idea of the Former Yankees that will be participating this year?

Pinstripe Alley The Volume of Yankee Stadium this Postseason!

A follow up on jscape2000, and his post on 'A Thought On The Sound Of Yankee Stadium'

Please tell me I am not the only one who has noticed!? I would like to thank jscape2000 on his most recent post..'A Thought On The Sound Of Yankee Stadium'... This has been in the back of my mind since the Twins series... I've been to the stadium 3 times this postseason, including both walk-offs and last nights World Series victory! The sound guy should be FIRED! Yankee Stadium sounds SO FLAT! A friend of mine told me that even Joe Smuck and Tim DicKarver mentioned the borderline silence inside the Park last night...

Pinstripe Alley What's next for Hughes

Yesterday on WFAN, Mike Francesa interviewed Girardi and a topic they discussed was where Phil Hughes would end up when Wang comes back. Hughes will start on Monday against Texas and since he has been brought up he has been getting the job done except for the bad outing against the O's. Girardi said he heard from others that Phil said he will pitch anywhere but didn't clarify where, whether it be the Minors, The bullpen, of with another organization.

Assuming Wang gets the job done for his next start, where would you place Hughes?

Pinstripe Alley Manny expecting at least 3 from Yanks

Last night, I tuned into ESPN and witnessed Sportscenter announcing that Manny Ramirez is expecting at least a 3 year deal from the Yankees. I hope this is true and I hope the Yankees follow up on this. Manny is waiting for Teixeira to make a decision, so until then we have to ponder....

How dangerous would the Yankees be with Manny?
