Anthony Randolph also being shopped?!?!
According to Yahoo and ESPN Anthony Randolph is likely to be traded to the Timberwolves because Golden State wants to get a higher pick in the upcoming draft. The Warriors own the 6th pick while the Timberwolves own the 4th pick. According to the report Golden State is unhappy with Randolph's maturity. Last time I checked he was only 20...is GS kidding or has that front office really lost their minds? Trading Randolph who has future star written all over him to only go up spots in the draft? Wow...If the Bobcats can trade for a pick like in the proposed trade with the Sixers which would land Charlotte the 2nd pick they could offer that to Golden State and they would have to go for it. Yes say if the Bobcats got the 2nd pick they could pick Turner or Cousins but everyone knows what Randolph can be capable of given minutes (he never had any sort of consistent minutes with Nelly crazy rotation) and again he is only 20 and younger than Turner with 2 years of NBA experience already. Cousins is a meh for me. And maybe there could be a way to throw in Diop's horrible contract in that deal. And say if Charlotte can not get that done and the trade between GS and Minnesota goes down, it will set off a chain reaction which the Bobcats can take advantage of because Minnesota would have Love, Randolph, and Jefferson. So with more reason Jefferson would have to be traded. (Doubt Jefferson would be part of the deal with GS and we all know Love will not be traded)
What is going on now? Young talented players with great potential that are barely even given a chance are being offered for close to nothing. Bobcats already took advantage of all this kookiness by getting Thomas for basically nothing....but first Beasley and now Randolph are probably going to be traded for basically nothing and they clearly have huge upsides?!?!? Bobcats have to take advantage of this craziness and this will literally make up for the horrible draft picks made by Charlotte. If they land any of those 2 or even Jefferson the future in Charlotte would not be as bleak as everyone makes to be.
