Fotiu is God

Free-range print journalist/documentarian and beyond rehab Ranger addict.
Once the coffee's on I'm surfing RangerCrisis, BeyondtheBlueshirts, Blueshirt Brothers, BlueshirtBanter, BlueshirtBlog and, for league-wide perspective, Puck Daddy.
My cousins Joe and Joy Vizzini of Throggsneck, The Bronx, are Blueseater/season ticket holders since Carol Vadnais, The Maloney Brothers (Don may be the best GM in the NHL now...) and, of course, Nicky Fotiu wore the Blueshirt.
My three-year son, Nicky--pictured above in his Paulie Wallnuts tracksuit--is named for Fotiu.
As a ten-year old, at my very first game, I caught a puck off the stick of Vic Hadfield. Well, it hit the women seated next to me in the face, then kind of dribbled into my lap. That bit of magic unfolded at the erstwhile L.A. Forum.
My present billet is that hockey hotbed, Palm Springs, CA.
