Tony Parker IS the NBA MVP

With all due respect ... Actually, never mind that. Tony Parker has the best case to be named the MVP of the NBA.

Spurs Rest Stars, Still Cruise to 16 Point Victory Over Cavs

San Antonio takes its winning streak to 7 over the Cavs, rests Duncan, and lowers it's magic number to 1 for seizing the West's top seed for the 2nd consecutive year.

Not All Basketball Games Are Worth Winning

After nearly a full season's worth of Popovich valuing health and rest over individual wins, the Spurs are atop the West and looking down on the competition in more ways than one.

Confidence Game

Why didn't Pop directly counter the Lakers' strength inside?

I wrote in my Jazz recap, "In a span of 90 seconds that greatly decided the game, Devin Harris made two low percentage, highly contested three pointers." Some agreed with my implication that they...

Without the Big 3, Spurs Lose a Close One to Jazz

The Jazz end, ahem -- Pop ends the Spurs' second 11 game winning streak when he leaves Tim, Manu and Tony in S.A. The Spurs fight gamely, but come up short in Salt Lake City.

2012 Dunk Contest

Chase Budinger, Paul George, Derrick Wiliams and Jeremy Evans? MJ and Dominique are shaking their heads. There is no incentive for the stars to participate. The monetary award sucks; I can't even find how much it is but I think it's around $25,000. They need to get a real sponsor to give away a sweet ride that players will want. A Kia is not going to do the trick. Something needs to be done to produce a worthy incentive that will attract the stars. These borderline contributors are not going to get it done for me. The commentators are going to be infinitely more famous than the contestants. Sucks.

Spurs sacrifice win streak for a little R&R -- ESPN

Hollinger is one of the few ESPN guys that do not undermine my sanity.

The Thunder were finishing their third game in as many days (Triple Lindy) but it was the Spurs that looked like the tired team as OKC beat SA by 12 on Sunday night.
