5 Reasons the Knicks should trade for A.I.

1.) He gives a shit.

2.) Seeing him and Nate in the backcourt would just be so awesome.

3.) Great press conferences. "2010? We talking bout 2010?!"

4.) He would sure as hell make this season more fun to watch. And right now, don't you want Knicks basketball to be fun to watch again?

5.) When it implodes and Iverson gets more and more disgruntled it'll give us something to talk about instead of how much it's gonna hurt if the Jazz get the number #1 pick

Wow. Not a pretty game. I don't think I've ever gone from excited optimism to soul crushing pessimism so quickly in a Knicks season. Terrible defense, not attacking the basket, and a team that didn't show up in the second half. This was not a fun game to watch and I commend anyone who made it the whole way through. But now that I've had time to drink another beer and dry my tears lets make sure we don't get too carried away.

OK maybe our predictions of a 40 win season were premature (I know I wasn't the only one). Right now this team does not look any better than last years team, but I still think that there is a lot of room for optimism. (Well maybe not a lot of room but some)

One bright spot is Gallinari finding the touch. 7-for-13 from downtown. Career-high 22 points. Garbage time, sure, but against Heat regs.

Good point Hahn! Gallo was doing the Cock Swish big time tonight and that's a good sign. I wish that other players, in fact most of the other players would stop relying on the 3 so much. (Harrington, Duhon, Chandler, and Robinson all had terrible games from the 3 point line) but it's nice to see that Gallo found his shot.

What I'm saying  is: We need to make sure we don't put too much stock in one game. I really do believe that this team is better than they showed tonight and I think that they'll show that as the season goes on.  I believe that the defense is better than they showed tonight as well. And when is all said and done I think that this team is better than the team last year. Now lets just hope that the rest of the division isn't too.
