JJ Watt, another Chelsea fan?

Interesting portrait of JJ, nice that he just as Pogba plays as Chelsea, any chance the mirror or some Spanish trash can manufacture some rumours?!?! :)

Grantland features JJ Watt

Excellent portrait of our biggest star. I love that he likes Chelsea :)

The Houston Texans get tackle Nick Mondek and RB Jonathan Grimes back on their practice squad. Very good fortune. Good talents

Lance Zierlein on Twitter

I guess Bertie is gonna get an extended run in the team

In reaction to the written statement by FA on Terry suspension and fine Ashley Cole just called the FA or the judges in Terrys case #ABUNCHOFTWATS Even though I might agree with him I doubt that language is gonna help him. :)

The Swiss Ramble takes another look at FFP

It's a good read. Chelsea features a lot and as we nowadays know, we'll be able to cope all right with this.

Spurs confirm Modric switch. It's official

From the Spurs site: CLUB ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH REAL MADRID AND TRANSFER OF LUKA MODRIC The Club can announce that it has signed a partnership agreement with Real Madrid FC and reached agreement for the transfer of Luka Modric, subject to medical, to the Spanish club. The partnership agreement will see the two Clubs working together in respect of players, coaching, best practices and commercial relationships. Real Madrid FC President, Florentino Perez Rodriguez, said, "The strong relationship and affinity between our two clubs has resulted in the cementing of a longer-term partnership and the successful transfer of Luka Modric. We are delighted to welcome Luka and look forward to working closely with Tottenham in the coming years." Daniel Levy, Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur, commented, "Luka has been a terrific player for us and, whilst we preferred not to part with him, we are pleased that it is to Real Madrid, a club with which we now look forward to sharing a long and productive partnership." Luka made 160 appearances for the Club, scoring 17 goals after joining from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer of 2008. We wish him well for the future." It makes you wonder if Tottenham and Real Madrid is gonna become what Arsenal and Barcelona have got going. Not saying I'm against it but it's up to them.

No Premier League Ban for Ivanovic

Branislav Ivanovic will not face any suspension despite being sent off in Chelsea's Community Shield loss to Manchester City on Sunday.

Eden Hazard confirms he's made his decision

But he won't tell us what it is. What a fucking tease he is. Gotta love him and hate him for it really. Quote Twitter: "good afternoon guys. i made up my mind. see you later. thanks"

BBC Monday Night Club Dissects Chelsea

This is a very good listen if anyone is looking for insight into Chelsea. Particularly there's a snippet from Ian McGarry who's usually one of the journos that breaks Chelsea news. This fits into the whole Guardiola thingy in that a person close to Roman says that now that we have the Champions League trophy the next thing for Chelsea is to build Romans dream, which would be a sustainable team playing attracting football in the UCL year in and year out. (read Barcelona).

Essien and Eva Carneiro

3.15 into that and you can see Essien putting his moves on our physio. Sorry it's in Swedish but that's all I got.

The Cap situation by PFT

We're 4,7 mill over the new cap that was agreed. There's some really good teams that are in a much much better situation than us and some much worse teams that are in much worse situation than us but it's interesting to see that some contenders are seemingly building smarter than us even if we've been so draft focused the last few years. Slightly worrying to me. :)

LaCanfora: Andre Johnson #80 has restructured his contract

Wohoo, maybe this means Saint Mario will come back afterall. :)

BBC 5 Live Monday Night Club discusses Chelsea

Scroll down to the 5th of March and listen to the insight from generally good and impartial Journos close to Chelsea. I found it fascinating and particularly disturbing was the Drogba AVB thingie. "Roman's Empire Mon, 5 Mar 12 Duration: 95 mins Available: 5 days remaining Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is searching for his eighth manager in nine years - following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas. In a special edition of the Monday Night Club, John Motson, Steve Claridge and Ian McGarry look at who is to blame at the club and who might take over next. Plus, they review the rest of the weekend's action, including an in-depth look at the Premier League strugglers."

Eddie Newton comes in to help RDM

As expected really some moves are done to shore up until the end of the season.

The Assistant Offensive Line Coach is gone (Frank Pollack)

Assisting Texans offensive line coach John Benton can pay huge dividends. Frank Pollack, who was the assistant offensive line coach the last five years, has been hired as the offensive line coach at Oakland. He joins Greg Knapp, the Texans’ quarterback coach who was hired as the Raiders’ offensive coordinator under new coach Dennis Allen. Last year, Bruce Matthews, who also served as an assistant under Benton, was hired as Tennessee’s offensive line coach. Benton, who has done a terrific job coaching the offensive line under Gary Kubiak, is regarded as one of the best in the league. Kubiak is looking for a quarterbacks coach. He’s talking to former Miami Dolphins quarterbacks coach Karl Dorrell about the job. Now he’ll be in the market for another assistant to replace Pollack.

Raiders Offer Greg Knapp Offensive Coordinator Job

New Raiders head coach Dennis Allen knows who he wants as his offensive coordinator: Greg Knapp. Knapp, who currently serves as the Texans’ quarterbacks coach, was offered Oakland’s offensive coordinator position, Alex Marvez of is reporting. If Knapp takes the job it won’t be the first time: He was also the Raiders’ offensive coordinator in 2007 and 2008. He has also been the offensive coordinator of the 49ers, Falcons and Seahawks in other NFL stints, and he and Allen were on the same coaching staff in Atlanta.

Bardsley to get 4 games suspension

The normal is three but seems it's gonna be four this time.
