Talking Chop A Callout to any English Braves fans

Ok so first of all a little filler about how I became a Braves fan.

It was four years ago and I was coming back in the early hours of the morning from a party. I crashed on my sofa and turned the TV on. Here in the UK until this year we had Sunday and Wednesday night games shown on channel 5. The game that happened to be on this night was Phillies against the Braves. Now when i watch any sports games, however impartial I try to be I always end up rooting for one of the teams. And so a couple of hours into the game I was screaming at the TV (the drunkenness may have added to this, especially as I wasn't really clued into pretty any rules of baseball at this point) anyway a Phillies walk-off win later and my journey as a Braves fan had begun. I spent the next few months immersing myself in baseball, learning the rules, checking in on mlb.com every day, reading up on Braves history and watching any game I could. Of course I have proved to be a massive jinx for the team as this first year I became a fan happened to coincide with the end of the division winning streak. (I strongly believe I am a jinx as my football team in England have won sweet FA in the history of me supporting them) Anyway even though I am still be a relative greenhorn, I now consider myself a proper fully fledged Braves fan, the topping of this will be a few weeks time when I will be catching my first live game when my dad takes me to Chicago and we will be going to Wrigley on the 8th July.

Now onto the more important part of this fanshot. Basically, there is limited opportunity to discuss all things baseball here in the UK, and while supporting them long-distance and the midnight-or-later-starts are all pretty fun, sports is always better when you can share it with other people. Talkingchop has provided some opportunity for me to fill this need, but I crave proper fans to share the Braves experience with. I have one friend who has let me use his mlb.tv account, which I am eternally grateful for, but the guy is slightly insane and a giants fan and I am moving out from university so won't have him to tell me why the Braves suck any more.

So this is a call out to any Braves fan in the Uk, let me know if you are out there, maybe we can meet up sometimes to catch a game, if there are any trips organised out to watch games then let me know. Basically I need some good Braves chat here in the UK.

Congratulations to anyone who has read this whole fanpost, it has been massively self-indulgent i realise but there ya go.
