I'm not sure if this qualifies as a fanpost or not but, hopefully it does, if not I beg for forgiveness. I am going to be going to Kihei in the second week of April and am going to miss the last three home games. I am hoping to be able to watch on TV. Which brings me to my question, do Blazer games get broadcast there on regular TV? If not are there any bars or restaurants that have a satellite feed or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting piece by Bill Simmons about the possible financial future of the NBA. Blazers are mentioned a few times mostly for not pulling the trigger on Amare.

Blazer fans have been waiting for over a year to let loose a crazy reception to the words"...Starting at center Greg Oden!!!" my question is does it happen tonight?

I understand that it might not be time to turn greg into the starter on a regular basis but for just one night I think it would be okay. I have to believe that the Rose Garden would go crazy and be louder than ever, which in turn could carry over a little energy into the first part of the game.

Shaun Livingston works out for Warriors

I have always thought that Shaun Livingston had potential to be a great point guard and he was on track till the one of the nastiest knee injuries in recent memory put him out of action for the past year and a half.

I have been wondering if this would become a Jay Williams situation but in the nba rumors section on ESPN today it has a piece about Livingston potentially working out with the Warriors. If this is true why not give Livingston a chance to work out for the Blazers.

At worst he isn't ready to come back yet, at best you potentially get a former top 5 pick with room to go grow for what has to be a pretty substantial discount.

Bring back Blazer cups

I have been thinking about this for a while but I think it would be really awesome if Dairy Queen and the Blazers could come together and update the coolest cross promotion of my childhood.

I am of course talking about Blazer cups.

I think I speak for most people who grew up in late eighties and early nineties in Oregon and lower Washington when I say that these were much cooler than anything that came in any happy meal.

Now is the perfect time to bring Blazer cups back. We have the right guys for the first time since they stopped doing them. I mean how cool would it be to sip out of a BRoy glass and clink a cheers with your buddy who is sipping out of an Oden glass.

On a side note, as a tribute they could put out the Duckworth glass again and give some of the money to a charity in his name or something.

As a new member I apologize if I am putting this in the wrong spot or if this has been covered before (I did a search for it but didn't find anything, which is not to say it is not there just that I didn't find it.) What I really want to say is that I think it is time for the nickname LA to go. Not just unoriginal and bland but obviously singing I love LA in the Rose Garden is just not right.

I believe it is time for the fans to rise up and say enough. LaMarcus is a unique player and deserves a little more creativity than LA. I suggest LaMarcusaurus Rex. We could hold signs with a picture of a T-Rex body with LaMarcus' head photoshopped over it and instead of that stupid song they play they could play a clip of the T-Rex roar from Jurassic Park, and show a clip of the T-Rex smashing things. They could also do a where's your head at spot with a T-Rex body and LaMarcus head. Think about it, the T-Rex noise and smash would be cool and a dancing dinosaur would be pretty funny as evidenced by clapping Godzilla.

Listen that is just one idea I am sure that anyone who has cringed at the I love LA thing they do (especially during a game against the lakers) has thought of something else they would rather hear, if you have something better I am open to it. I believe we have to be able to come up with something better than LA.

 <fieldset class="poll-box">
