Dennis Rodman inducted into HOF
Dennis Rodman was inducted to the hall of fame on Friday. Everyone on here knows how remarkable of a rebounder and defender he was at only 6'6" or 6'7" with shoes. His play inspired and helped define a Piston's culture of hard work, defense, and rebounding. I would have basketball no other way, and for that, I thank you Mr. Rodman! Congratulations on your induction, it's well-earned and deserved.
Here are some of his accomplishments; he totaled 11,954 rebound in his 14 year career while becoming a 2-time defensive POY, a 2-time All-Star, a 7-time NBA rebounding leader, a 7x All-Defense 1st Team, and least but not last, a 5x NBA Champion!
Here is a good recap video I found and also his very emotional induction speech.
Stuckey's Worth
A decent article that discusses what Stuckey would be worth next year. He's compared to DBB's favorite PG, Conley. :)
I'm not optimistic that he will or even wants to stay in Detroit. I wouldn't if I were in his shoes with the constant coaching changes and whack rosters for most of his career here.
Stuckey's status unclear?
Not sure what's meant by the his status is unclear, but I'm hoping that Q and Stuck are are not beefing still and that Stuckey doesn't miss any time. I'd like to see him out there with Monroe and see how they both play off each other.
This has me thinking if Stuck is possible being shopped or if he requested a trade. Pure speculation on my part, but they're being pretty cryptic right now.
Dumars Mourning
Found this inside an article about Ernie Sims and Matt Millen. Looks like Dumars lost his older brother:
"Condolences to Pistons president Joe Dumars, whose older brother Dan died Thursday in Louisiana.
Dumars described Dan as a teacher and coach -- "one of my big brothers who looked out for me," he said. "I'm going to miss him tremendously."
Funeral arrangements are pending."
