Today there were two things I saw that really got under my skin. First we get two hit by Martis, a trade that is now being talked about heavily due to his success. Then I looked in the box score and see Matt Palmer threw a complete game! To top it off it was against one of the best offensive teams in the MLB. So I just wonder who the heck is evaluating this talent? Maritis is 5-0 and Palmer is 4-0 with a 3.38 ERA. These are just a couple guys that we have overlooked so is it poor talent evaluation or what?

As the offseason progresses there has been a lot of rumblings over us signing many former Dodgers. The names popping up have included Manny, Furcal, Blake, and Biemel. As Giants fans how does everyone feel about this. Are we doing our self a service by taking away our biggest rivals best players, or are we just making stupid decisions pursuing them? Do you like the idea of signing former Dodgers or will they always have that crummy Dodger scent if we sign them?

Looking at this team and its progression you can't help but notice one person’s fingerprints are everywhere. Chris Mullin! You think about how bad we were for so long before he came into the front office and turned everything around, and even when Higgins bolted for Charlotte we still had a phenomenal 48 win season. It's truly remarkable what he has done in such a short period of time. He got Baron for two useless players. Drafted young stars like Biendrins and Ellis, and has a team full of young talent. Randolph, Wright, Belinelli, and others are all parts that he has put together. Not to mention the totally lopsided deal he worked to get Jackson and Harrington. I think that Mullin is one of the most important pieces in the organization and need to be signed before we lose him. What are everyones thoughts?

I honestly can say that I feel bad for him. It seems like he's always in the rumor mill of being traded. Not to mention the lousy run support we provide.However, the latest rumor is the most interesting. Would a Fielder for Cain trade make sense to anyone? There are so many questions to be answered. Is it worth giving away a guy who is locked up super cheap and has potential off the charts? Will Fielder be worth the money if we give him a huge contract? Can Pablo be a solution at first base? Just want see what everyone thinks!

I have been on the fences with randy winn for months. One day I say he is an average overpaid RF, then the next day I say him as a guy who can hit for aveage and field like no other off those archways. So how does every1 feel like randy winn.
