Where is Clip Show???

This is the weekend of the grand prize and Clip Show is lost in the world wide web. John is paying for the beer if I recall correctly. This is the contest that got me into the bolts from the blue family! I want pic's after the game John. Please wear your lightning bolts proudly in NYC. Weather is supposed to be great 50's and sunny, sounds like an aerial assault for the bolts.  Hope you all have a great time!!

Trying again for the tickets!

As I have had time to think about what to say in my second post, I left out trips to KC to see Cryin Ryan's sweet performance and sat through the rain for the worst 4 hours of being a charger fan. On a good note seeing Jim Harbaugh reminded me of the game I saw in Denver when Jermaine Fazande ran for something like 183 yards and we beat the donkeys in 1999, what a great day to be a charger fan. Also as a young boy in 1985  I went to mile high stadium to see the chargers have not one but two field goals blocked at the end of the game to loose to the donkey's. Needless to say after all of the ups and downs I still love the chargers and will be there in NY to scream my head off. As said in the first post I am over 21 and not a lush. I will happily scream and yell for the chargers. And I will fly up to NY and stay in a hotel somwhere close to the stadium or with an old military buddy who lives in Manhattan. I have never been to NY before which will definately add to the excitement. I am so un-computer savvy that I would have no idea as to where to start to put a graph on this page so forgive me for that. Thanks for this opportunity I have enjoyed reading all the posts from other charger fans. It is cool to see how the chargers have all had an impact on our lives in some form or fashion. Until next time...

How can I not try...

As a lifelong charger fan and someone who barely knows how to post on these blogs I had to give it a go for a chance to go to the game in N.Y. First of all I read this website a couple of times a week and enjoy the updated material as the UT, and chargers.com are fairly quiet this time of the year. When I read this challenge for a free ticket I thought two things. 1. Is this guy crazy? 2. He must be my brother from another mother. What a sweet idea to get the competitive juices flowing. As I grew up my father was and still is a minister. Sunday's were dedicated to church in the am, football and family in the afternoon, and church again sunday night. My mom still tells stories of dad being so mad after a charger's loss on sunday afternoon that he could hardly preach on sunday night. I fondly remember my family members yelling at the tv while watching the airshows of the early 1980's. My family has had season tickets in some form or fashion dating back to balboa stadium. I have great memories of tailgating as a child at the "murph" as we like to call it. I have seen the chargers play on the road in Minnesota, Los Angeles <raiders>, Jacksonville, Tennesse. The worst of all experiences being of course LA. We actually had a raider fan attempt to urinate on us while in his seat. Yes, I truly despise the raiders as does any good charger fan. My daughters know the one thing that will be tolerated in a boyfriend/future husband is 1. A bandwagon fan 2. A raider fan. I now live in South Georgia thus the name GABOLT. My family and I all love the chargers and we live and die on sunday afternoons in the dirty south. My kids go to school proudly sporting blue and gold all year long. Fatheads of LT and tons of memorbilia cover our walls. I actually am in the procees of converting my garage to a charger room for sunday afternoons. These are just a few of the fond memories I hold of being a charger fan. I write all of this to show that if you take me with you I will certainly not dissapoint, You will have someone who shares the love of the chargers, is over 21 and is not a lush. If you give me the ticket I will be there and will be ready to scream for the chargers. Regardless of the outcome your post has caused this technologically handicapped charger fan to dive in head first to the blogging world. Thank you for your time. GABOLT
