Stanley Cup of Chowder Lucic for Canada!

WOW!! I know we are all part of the Lucic Crew. We all think he plays "wicked hard."
When I was watching TSN last night and they announced Lucic received an invitation to tryout for Team Canada during the summer evaluation camp, my jaw hit the floor, then my head hit the basement roof. I was surprised for 2 seconds, then, $%*&IN RIGHT!! Perfect guy for that team. The 3rd line, role playing, checking winger, that will make those "chicken swedes" wish they flew into the rafters instead of skating into the corner for the puck.

It sure is time we see players like Milan Lucic get special consideration like this. Great to see the brass of the Olympic men's hockey team show some balls and acknowledge that Milan Lucic has what it takes to play for his country at the most highest level. At  his young age just the nod let alone playing will do wonders for his game.

I hope he makes it and I will defend his abilities and what talents he brings to this summer camp. Remember, when Canada wins Olympic Gold next February and Lucic had a "Neely Hatrick" in the gold medal game. We will see how vocal the 'nay-sayers" and critics and Montreal Fans are saying, if blabing at all.

If Canada was to have a Canada-1 and Canada-2 teams, the buzz of Milan Lucic getting an invite to this summer evaluation would be a quiet buzz.

I am surprised no one has posted on this topic yet. Let me leave you with one thought. What happened the last time Milan Lucic played in Vancouver on a smaller but similar national and international stage!! Good things are starting   to happen to this young amazing player and he just may reach the potential tag of "Jr. Cam" sooner than most think.

Stanley Cup of Chowder LETS GET A LITTLE BLOOD ON THE BRUIN WHITES TONITE!

There  was a moment in Saturdays game when I couldn't have been more proud to be a B's fan, when you see Partice chuck in knuck like we all did Saturday night, the rush and charge I felt was over the top. Every punch he threw, I threw. None of us have to be reminded about 37's fragile head. Maybe he was thinking the same all B's fans were thinking, that, there was no "freak-in" way we will be pushed around by anybody. Montreal, Philly, New York etc... especially by the habs. His Bruin player attitude and his bravery to teach Gorges a lesson Saturday was  just an example of what every Bruin player now and the many before him would do  for his teammates and fans.

The after the whistle face washes and the leg chops will not stop. The habs seem to think at some level they can play this style of game with The Bruins. The habs will not win what ever style they choose to play. Some will say we are all too cocky to say or agree to this. There has not been a time in my 43 years other than in 1971 in game 4 of overtime, that I have felt this great about Boston and there abilities and opportunity that lies ahead.

I was so happy when Montreal dropped to the 8th position in the standings and Boston was awarded the opportunity to meet the habs this first round. A perfect first round match up for Boston. This series win will not only tighten the already well bonded team tighter, it will give them motivation and lay the ground work for the next challenge that lies ahead, New York, Philly, Carolina. You can't help think that in the back of the habs heads, last years series still lingers, the threat that The Bruins are close to turning the tide of history.  Well the tsunami is here and its about to wipe out a team on the verge of a total overhaul, from management to ownership and a ship out of players that will only be second to the one thats going on in toronto this golf season.

Tonight we will see the blood on the Bruins jerseys. We won't see it on the habs.  We will also see the hearts of Bergeron and all our other Bruins on there sleeves, like we have every game night this year, maybe we will see the pyjama strpes of the 100 year old cupless, gutless Canadiens!

great-b-north, bleeded black and gold always, no matter.

Stanley Cup of Chowder die hards have to be worried

If you are a life long B's fan, you must be concerned with the teams play the last 7 weeks.

Letting a 2-0 lead slip away for the OT loss was a killer.

Watching it all unravel late in the third was gut wrenching. Trying to figure why was making me sick to my stomach.

If there is any positive to the colapse, it may be a blessing that its' happenning now and not in April, days before the real season.

I am sure the team, and the people running the operation are doing everything in there power to turn this around. Lets hope so, it could be a early tee time for all of us.

Maybe, just maybe, this is orchestrated! We still have the conference lead with the big game sunday with jersey. It could all be a grand scheme to rest and prepare for the playoffs! Boston is 100%, in the tourney and 100%, division leaders. The worst they can finish is 3rd in the conference. If it is planned they sure are not doing anything for the players confidence, let alone the fans nerves.

Sunday is definitely the game of the season. We will see how the B's start the game and we will see if that playoff type atmosphere and intensity last for 3 periods.

Expectations have been over exseeded from the start of the year. The new ones are dangling by a thread.
