Possible Trade Idea

What do you guys think about trading Belinelli, Maggette, and Wright for Baron and DeAndre Jordan? I was always happy with getting Turiaf but I think he should be our starting four. Not because he's not good at the five but because Beans needs help defensively. I've been noticing teams are becoming really eager to slash in the lane whenever we put Turiaf back on the bench for Beans, and I've REALLY been noticing that Andris can't do much about it. I think Ronny's defensive prowess and Biedrins' rebounding gives us quite the interior presence. Jordan is an athletically gifted big man who we could work on developing for the future, and is physically more of a "true" five than both Biedrins and Turiaf. Bringing Baron back doesn't really need to be explained, it's an obvious factor for us.

* Also, I just wanted to add that maybe we should consider drafting Terrence Williams. That way if we made this trade and Baron didn't come back as... well, Baron, then he could be our future big guard to play along with Monta and defend the other teams' SG's. Just a thought.

Starters:

PG: Baron Davis
SG: Monta Ellis
SF: Stephen Jackson
PF: Ronny Turiaf
C: Andris Biedrins

Bench:

PG: C.J. Watson
SG: Kelenna Azubuike
SF: Anthony Morrow
PF: Anthony Randolph
C: DeAndre Jordan

Reserves: Jamal Crawford (Yes, I know he's no one's reserve but until we figure out his future with the organization, I'm putting him here), Jermareo Davidson, Rob Kurz, +2 Draft Picks

Give me five, or "a" five at least...

I personally feel that we should only draft a PG if we can sign/trade for another five. Turiaf is good at the center spot; if you start him at the four with Biedrins at the five and we bring another seven-footer to the team to back up Beans, Ronny almost automatically becomes one of the top PF's in the league. There's not a lot of great fives in this year's draft, so are there any legit centers the W's might be able to get their hands on in the free agency or by trade this off-season? I wished we could've gotten JaVale McGee from Washington, I can tell now they're not going to be giving him up soon. Has anybody seen that kid DeAndre Jordan on the Clips? Does he look any good? Think we could get our hands on him? The reason why I'm bringing up these "unproven" players is because trading for players like Bosh or Stoudemire means giving up so much for one player who might make our team better. (Let's get real, the only way that happens is with a new coach. However, I won't get into that right now.) Anyway, let me know what you think.

IDEA: Kwame Brown- a Warrior

I understand this idea may sound just a little nuts when first mentioned. I mean really, who wants to pick up a #1 draft bust who's career averages are 7.5ppg, 5.7rpg, and 1.1apg? I say if they're smart, the Warriors should.

Kwame is a big man that you'll probably be able to pick up fairly cheap soon. He's 6'11, and knowing Don Nelson, if he became a Warrior, he'd probably be weighing around a lean 255 (rather than 270, his current weight) by the time he stepped on the court in a blue and gold jersey. What's really major about acquiring Kwame is that he's only 26 and still hasn't reached anywhere near his full potential, and with the right team, I think he has a chance to excel in this league. If Nelson were to play Brown at the 4 rather than the 5 like the other teams he's been on, keep Andris Biedrins as the starting center, and in the draft the Warriors were to obtain a young, athletic backup center and another point guard, I feel they really do become one of the best teams in the league. If he does anywhere near what he's capable of for Golden State, they may even rival the Lakers of next season (Odom at the three spot, Gasol at the four, Bynum at center).

Starters: PG: Baron Davis, SG: Monta Ellis, SF: Stephen Jackson, PF: Kwame Brown, C: Andris Biedrins

Bench: Al Harrington, Austin Croshere, Brandan Wright, C.J. Watson, Kelenna Azubuike, Kosta Perovic, Marco Belinelli, Matt Barnes, Mickael Pietrus, Patrick O'Bryant (Though two or three will more than likely be gone by next season)

Let me know what you think!
