Beer in the stadium? The Big 12 has no rules encouraging or prohibiting it at campus stadiums, but West Virginia made the addition to its stadium this year. The details of whether it will continue haven't been ironed out yet.

http://espn.go.com/blog/big12 Just one more reason why WVU's a good add. Hello Colorado void: Mountains and beer in the stadium. I just hope their fans are better than Colorado's. But I'm pretty sure cfbstats.com has Colorado's fans ranked 120th in total Douche.

OU Game a sell-out already

Boom. That's how you do it people. Already operating at 99.3% capacity on the year. The empire is rising for sure!

Sizing up the three expansion candidates

I found this to be very informative and objective. I didn't really pay attention to where the writer was from. If I had to guess, it would be within the WVU beat area if there is any bit of bias.

"West Virginia has better football than Missouri, better basketball than Missouri, a better budget than Missouri and more passion among its fans than Missouri. They're better, anyway you turn 'em. The travel's not good but that's it."

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/7137504/big-12-replace-missouri-tigers-quickly-mu-leaves-conference Can't say I'll argue that quote any one bit. Mizzou so far, besides Colorado has been the most replaceable, though the TCU for A&M swap worked out fine too. Nice little read. It's Sunday so it's ok to stop talking football and gear up the realignment talk once again

According to Martin, Samuels is up to almost inconceivable 233 pounds after starting last season at 201. Equally surprising, though, is the praise radiating from the same coach who seemed frustrated with his fifth-year forward's performance not so long ago.

...your whine card about the lack of respect is permanently revoked, the same as many Big 12 excuses of the past about not allowing TCU in are also revoked. Such as, TCU doesn't bring a TV audience in the vast local market. Then someone did a survey over the last few years of the TV audience when both TCU and A&M played nationally televised games. Turns out the Frogs drew a bigger DFW viewership than the Aggies. Excuses just took a hike. This is now a reality for TCU

1. On Monday, the Big East's presidents and chancellors voted to approve the conference's expansion efforts. These efforts will include the possible additions of the following: Navy, Army, Air Force, Temple, Central Florida and -- believe it or not -- SMU. It's a little bit remarkable that the Big East, of all places, would want to add a barely revived football program with absolutely zero basketball history, but that's life in the realignment game. Basketball just does not matter.

Also Sunday, Chuck Neinas, interim Big 12 commissioner, said his conference has "received inquiries from a number of institutions," but no decision regarding expansion has been made. Neinas, who replaced departing commissioner Dan Beebe last week, said those inquires would be referred to the conference's expansion committee. He declined to identify those institutions. The conference has not been notified of any final decision by Missouri officials, Neinas said, regarding a possible departure to the Southeastern Conference. Neinas has said he is confident Missouri will remain with the Big 12. He said that a meeting of Missouri's governing panel, the Board of Curators, should be held soon. "We may find out something then," he said. The Kansas City Star reported the meeting could be as early as Tuesday

While reading between the lines doesn't bode well for our friends at Rock M Nation to be around talking the talk in Big 12 terms for the foreseeable future, it does bode well for "getting shit done" Kirk style. Big 12, meet the 2025 vision...that's right none of this 6 year commitment bullshit. I pissed on Mississippi State for a reason.

Fitz loves the idea that I'm pretty sure came up with first. I had the Big 8/Big East idea two weeks ago. So I'd need subscribers to find out who posted what on Wabash station, to produce such Fitz jiz all over the podcast. They even talk about moving TCU to the Big 8 division. Sigh.
