So there's this kid Patrick Schuster in Florida. He goes to Mitchell High.

He's thrown four consecutive no-hitters. His streak started April 3rd, and he has 60 K's in that span. Oh, also he's a lefthander. He had 17 strikeouts in his last game.

Pretty insane stuff, I'm guessing. Anybody know of video or more info about him? I've got this link (opens in new window) but that's it.

Giants to charge more for Lincecum games

Okay, they didn't exactly specify that, but come on.

This could wind up being an interesting way to shore up revenue, but I doubt people are going to like hearing that the games actually worth watching at the park will cost more money.

Then again, if the reverse is true and the crappy matchups are cheaper, then I've got no complaints. It's very much a "you get what you pay for" mentality.

Sorry if this had already been brought up...

Jeff Kent's final series

So Jeff Kent is retiring.

Personally I think it's awesome that fate would see his final series in San Francisco, where he made a name for himself.

If I were going to any of the games this weekend, despite him being Jeff Kent and a Dodger, I would feel compelled to give him a complimentary ovation. I have not forgotten how much of an asset he was to this team. And frankly, he's been the greatest "villain" role for this team in a long time. I mean, come on, who doesn't love to boo Jeff Kent? It's half the reason for a lot of the people to be going to Giants-Dodgers games.

What are your thoughts? Is it time to give him some respect? Or do we boo him to the bitter end?
