I'm a full-time armchair manager of Real Madrid, and a recent graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. I grew up watching Madrid play at the Bernabéu, and some of my earliest memories are of celebrating in or around the Cibeles after we won the 1995 Liga and the 1996 Champions.
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, so I love the Packers, and the Badgers with all my heart; I lived in Boston for a year in 1996, so naturally I love the Yankees and the Knicks.
My life ambition is to be yelled at by Jorge Valdano during a press conference for asking him an uncomfortable question, and then being removed forcibly by security. (I did meet Valdano when I lived in Madrid, but never got to say anything questionable to him because I was too afraid of being kicked in the face. True story.)
I run SBN's Real Madrid CF blog Managing Madrid, and spend most of my free time fantasizing about Real Madrid's starting 11, tactics, and Mourinho's suits. I also am in charge of SBNation.com/soccer 's Spain section. Woo!
