Quick React: Which NFC East Team has done the best in the 2009 Draft
I have been watching the draft all weekend and I believe that the Eagles have had one of the best drafts in the entire NFL and the best out of the NFC East by far. I love the Ingram selection but I wonder if another tight end not so far removed from playing in an actual game and who has some blocking skills wouldn't have been a better move but the pick is growing on me the more I hear how big a steal it was and see what he could have been if he had not torn his ACL.
Here is a breakdown of what players each team drafted.
Eagles:
Round 1: WR Jeremy Maclin
Round 2: RB LeSean McCoy
Round 5: Florida TE Cornelius Ingram, Virginia Tech CB Victor "Macho" Harris, Oregon OT Fenuki Tupou,
Round 6: Washington State WR Brandon Gibson
Round 7: Arizona State OG Paul Fanaika ,Maryland OLB Moise Fokou
Giants:
Round 1: North Carolina WR Hakeem Nicks
Round 2:Virginia OLB Clint Sintim, UConn OT William Beatty
Round 3: Cal Poly WR Ramses Barden, Wisconsin TE Travis Beckum
Round 4: North Carolina State RB Andre Brown
Round 5:Sam Houston State QB Rhett Bomar
Round 6: University of New Mexico DB DeAndre Wright
Round 7: DB Stoney Woodson
Redskins:
Round 1: Texas DE Brian Orakpo
Round 3: Maryland CB Kevin Barnes
Round5: Nebraska LB Cody Glenn
Round 6: Idaho TE Eddie williams
Round 7: Nevada WR Marko Mitchell
Cowboys:
Round 3:Western Illinois OLB Jason Williams, Ball State OT Robert Brewster
Round 4: Texas A&M QB Stephen McGee, Oregon State DE Brandon Williams
Round 5:Cincinnati CB DeAngelo Smith, Clemson FS Michael Hamlin, Southern Cal K David Buehler
Round 6:TCU SS Stephen Hodge, Virginia TE Josh Phillips
Round 7: Cincinnati CB Mike Mickens, Oklahoma WR Manuel Johnson
How do you feel about the NFC EAST drafts? What would you have done differently with the picks and positions the Eagles ended up with?
I HATE T.O and the ENTIRE Cowboy Organization

I was watching sports center earlier tonight and a news break came on stating that T.O was being dropped by the Cowgirls. I was elated to hear the news because I would no longer need to see him every time the Eagles face that terrible blight on the National Football League better known as the Cowboys. Yet they kept talking about it hearing from analyst after analyst saying that this was a move to strengthen their team. I understand that this was done because the team has poor chemistry but are they really that stupid to release him and take a hit financially in the process. Why not trade him away and get something out of it? That seemed extremely stupid to me. I hate TO with everything but I was so happy to see how he and the cowboys were rooted in conflict ever since his arrival. He left a parting gift in the form of a financial hit as well as the fact he can't make any plays for them anymore. I think this hurts their offense so much, i want to jump for joy. The only problem now is that his ego and his baggage can no longer help bring down the sinking ship that is the Dallas cowboys.
Yet the main Idea of this post was to talk about the cowboy franchise and I just wanted to see how much everyone hates them. I hate hearing about them all the time, first its about the drama in dallas, then they have a reality show, their on hard knocks and its an endless parade of people weighing in on insignificant information about an insignificant team. I know that it will get worse now due to this new development and I can't take another minute of it. I hope he tears this team apart with his loud mouth and airs all of Jerry Jones (death personified) dirty laundry nothing would tickle me more. I hate them for being so arrogant as to actually believe they are "americas team". I hate them because they are an Eagle rival. I hate them because I live in New Mexico and I can't stand their dumb-ass fans that talk shit despite the fact that they did not even make the playoffs. Their team is the only one sports center and other sports coverage ever seems to give any coverage to. I hate that I live in a region where their games are always on. But mostly I hate them because my parents raised me right and I am not a slack jawed idiot.Yet tonight I have one less reason to despise them they no longer have the player I loath, TO. I am through ranting so I wanted to know why do you hate the Cowboys and if you don't why aren't you seeking help?
The Draft: Who Should The Eagles take with their picks? What should they do with them?
via philbaucom.files.wordpress.com
This is just a question I have been wondering about. If you were the Eagles front office how would you spend the two first round draft picks. I want to know if you would trade them away, who you would use them on and why? I am of the opinion that the Eagles should take Knowshon Moreno with their first pick I love Westbrook and Buck but they need a power runner with determination or a bigger back like Bennie Wells to help deal better with converting short yardage plays. Then for the second pick in the first round they should shore up the offensive line with Eben Britton injecting some youth into the O-Line, even if he doesn't start let him learn until it is his time. Those are my ideas but I want to get a feeling for what others are thinking would be the best plan. Trade the picks for a player or a future deal like the last four years or keep them and draft someone? If they draft who should they draft and I mean who would you want not just between Wells or Knowshon but any other players as well.
