I graduated with an M.A. from USC in 2007. I've been a managing editor at Garnet and Black Attack since 2008, and my work at GABA has served witness to the transition from the doldrums of the early Spurrier years to the glories of more recent seasons. I've been fortunate enough to be an invited commentator on ESPN Radio and other venues. Thanks for reading!

Yeah, he may have missed this tackle because they're not hitting hard in practice, but he had several missed tackles that looked a lot like this during his college career.

Yeah, a ton of great plays had to be left off, which is par for the course in a successful season with several tight games.

Yeah, there's no Lizard's Thicket close to the stadium, which is why I suggested it for something to eat Sunday on the way out of town, if you stay overnight.

Absolutely. We're loaded at runningback. If Williams pushes an established, talented back like Wilds, that's great for our offense.

Wilds is a really impressive, versatile back other than the constant injuries. It may not be easy for Williams to overtake him.

Time will tell, but I don't necessarily think Vic made a bad decision. You're right that if the CU staff helps him develop his versatility, it could make a big difference for him. As a tweener he needs to show he has OLB familiarity.

Well, I've seen reports that we'll see a lot of 3-4, but I'm sure we'll still see some 4-3. You might be right we won't see enough 4-3 to see much of Mason Harris, which may be for the best.
