The Downfall of the Donkeys
Denver Broncos running back Laurence Maroney has been arrested in St. Louis on drugs and weapons allegation, officers found three weapons—a .45-caliber handgun, a 9mm pistol and a .223 -caliber rifle—along with a substance believed to be marijuana
Y'all probably already seen this, but I hadn't and it blew my mind.
Now I'm wondering Real or Fake?
(there is one for Flacco but no one wants to see that)
My attempt at some porkchop kool-aid
So here I sit in a dark room at 2:30am thinking about Chief’s Football. I have been down in the dumps despite my beloved Chiefs making the playoffs because of the damn Raiders. After glancing though numerous articles on AP it appears as though many of you are not as excited and filled with joy a fan base of a division champion should be. I understand. That game showed some key flaws in the team, and with a very tough opponent coming to Arrowhead its scary to think that we might get shown up again, IE: @SD, @DEN. I sort of understand the whole ‘we come back after tough losses’ idea. We did play very hard against Houston and I still believe if it wasn’t for officiating we would have won that game, but we didn’t. My worry is that the most recent loss came at home. The Chiefs’ Home, the place where the team comes back to play hard and heals the wounds from the losses. The fan base needs to be there and give all the support humanly possible to keep our boys on their toes and fighting hard. So with the damn Raider game behind us and the Playoffs ahead lets find some inspiration to cheer the Chiefs to victory.

How my Sunday was ruined and hadn't seen the Chiefs play yet.
So let me start by saying, I was very pumped up about it being Raider week and had expectations of another close yet awesome win against a hated divisional opponent. Thanks to not having any (proven) formal education I had to go to work at the orchestrated chaos that is Wal-Mart. As everyone knows; you don't want to even get close to a major retailer on the weekend. Most people get paid on Fridays and it is our American instinct to go spend it all and what better place than Wally World. Don't forget its November so for some god awful reason allot of people are in Christmas mode already. I work in the sporting goods section and live in western Kansas. Which is the greatest pheasant hunting our nation has to offer and next weekend is opening season. So all of the locals are getting prepared by purchasing their license and ammo before all the out of state-rs arrive. The only thing I had to get me through the day was knowing that I could come home at 10pm, turn on the boob tube, and press play on my DVR. I had made it though without any mention of the NFL. I had made a mistake in week 2, because I came across a customer wearing a Charger hat and after the Chiefs glorious week 1 win I had to gloat a little to this Charger fan. Well, he got me in the end because he pops off by saying "well your Chiefs won again today." It sucked but at least I could go home and jump onto Arrowhead pride and not really need to watch the game. Just bask in the glory of being 2-0. Well, yesterday went Ari in similar fashion yet I had learned from my mistakes and kept my mouth shut. I learned not to even be a fan of football when at work. No reason to give an opportunity for disappointment. I had made it through my day at work. It was 9pm and had time for one last smoke break before getting out of that hell hole. I went to a fellow co-worker seeking someone to cover my position for 15min. Out of freaking' nowhere he blurts out that the Chiefs lost in overtime! F@*&!!! I couldn't believe this guy was so ignorant. He knew I was a die hard fan and had told him in prior weeks that I recored every game. He didn't even realize he messed up my night. He could have flip flopped on it and be like "no I was just joking' or something to make me still live in suspense. Its one thing to hear about a win too early, it sucks, but at least it isn't as bad a hearing about a loss to the f'n RAIDERS before making it home. So I had to come home and still push play on the trusty DVR to watch what felt like half of the damn Lions/Jets game and to beat the dead horse the DVR stooped recording right after the long Raider reception in overtime. Sunday sucked. End of story. Thank you for reading my rant. You may now return to your normally programed Chiefs blogging. (In homage of our recently departed Porkchop) Ganja Out!
I think we all can relate to this poor kid...

(Some) Jets fans not worried about losing Jones and prefer Tomlinson
Basically the gist of it all is the Gang Green Nation think that Thomas Jones 1400 yards last season was due to their great run blocking and that Tomlinson givin' the same opportunity will put up much better numbers. The creator of the post says "Can [Jones] break a run that doesn't consist of the o-line's complete domination and him running 10 yards down field untouched? Can he make a guy miss... once? Nope."
Chargers "Bad Mouth" Tomlinson
"Sometimes you would get the sense that people felt bigger than the team," Gates told The Union-Tribune. "Not to say it was an issue, but we know it’s not an issue for sure now."
Rivers told the The San Diego Union-Tribune
"Maybe it was a little bit of a relief. Maybe it’s a feeling of, ‘I can do a little more without wondering what he thinks.’"
