Since 2003-04 the Predators missed the playoff only once, finishing second in the Central Division three times and third twice. Over the past six seasons they finished with less than 91 points only once and since the lockout have five consecutive seasons with 40 or more victories.

Some franchises in more hockey-friendly markets like Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Minnesota and Buffalo would kill to have had that kind of regular season consistency over the same period.
