Me an' DeLoss and LHN
It's interesting the way commenters on these blogs seem to blame bloggers/fans of opposing schools personally for failures and egregious actions of said schools. "Y'all guys did [insert egregious activity], an' we don't like it!"
Ridiculous, of course.
Except that I, GeekHorn, really AM responsible for a lot of that stuff. 'Cause me an' DeLoss are, you know, like THAT. *Holds fingers together, requiring surgery to separate* He has me on speed dial. He'll call me at all hours to get my take on whatever he's obsessed about at the moment.

*"Texas Fight" ring tone*
Me: "Hmmfmhm?"
DeLoss: "Hey, Geek, I got somethin' I wanna run past ya. See what ya think of this..."
One time he was all up about something called LHN. Big whoop. Well, I'd had a rough day, and wasn't sleeping well. All I wanted was to shut him up and get back to sleep. So I said, "Yeah, DeLoss, that sounds magic. You go right ahead." And I haven't heard from him since.
Too bad, too, because I've got a way to get every cable company in the country to pick it up, but he hasn't asked me. I guess he figures it ain't his problem...
Why "Sooner"?
Something has been bothering me for some time. This is a sincere question.
If there is a rational, intelligent Sooner fan (hold on now, that might not be a contradiction) out there, please explain to me why anyone with a shred of personal integrity would take upon themselves the name "Sooner", which is derived from cheaters and thieves in the Oklahoma land rush. Bad jokes about gap-tooth, redneck child molesters aside, it simply does not make sense to me. Any takers?
If the answer has already been posted (intelligently), please point it out.
For the record, I have been following Longhorns (and SWC/Big 8/Big XII opponents) football since 1967, and I've never heard a satisfactory explanation.
