Best Move for CF is no move...
I don't like the idea of Crisp, Pods, Byrd, or Church being the primary CF for the Cubs. Majority of Cubs fans can look at their stats and easily say that none of those players are worthy of a multi-year contract with the Cubs. Maybe a 1 year contract but it would be better if the Cubs just sign a bench player and a RP and then call it an offseason. I like the idea of waiting till mid-season to explore other options.
As for the SP, I don't really see a SP that is worth considering. Majority of the free agent SP might demand a multi-year contract similar to Marquis.
The only player that I would want on the team is Orlando Hudson, but that's impossible considering the Cubs now have Baker and Fontenot platooning at 2nd base.

Adam Dunn for 14 mill a year?!
Wow...according to mlbtraderumors, Dunn is demanding 4 years 56 million smackers! I know hes a good hitter, but his defense is awful (I daresay its even worse than Carlos Lee's defense). IMHO, he is not worth 14 million $$$ (let alone for 4 yrs).
If you were Jim Hendry, would you have signed Dunn for 4yrs/56 mill? (I'm starting to like the Milton Bradely contract alot more since the third year is a team option year.)

Available SP???
We already heard that Hendry is looking to acquire a SP. Also, it's quite obvious that the Cubs would rather have Marshall as a spot starter/LRP. However, its difficult to find a solid # 3-4 starter in the free agency/trade market besides Lowe (too much $$$), Pettite (also too much $$$), and JP (well, you know the story).
Both Bedard (injury prone) and Greinke (last yr rumored avialable SP) are off the market. Thoughts on who might be available on the tight trade market?
