The week started tough - getting the 3rd ping pong ball but the Russian "Big Man" seemed to take over the town the next two days with his new buddy Jay-Z

Got my renewal package today.   I'm getting seriously pumped up about next season.  Great letter from David Stern where he says "the future for this franchise is extremely bright".    Not sure how they got him to write that letter, but I couldn't agree more.   Neither could my son, who was so excited he put on his NETS basketball shoes.   He isn't even a month old yet, but I'm already planning for the moment when David Stern calls his name on draft day.  I can dream....

Did any more people sign up?  I've got my three ready to go for this Saturday.   The three of us played yesterday - we had fun, but it wasn't very pretty at times.  Hopefully, I'll find my jump shot by Saturday and a little extra wind - people like to say 40 is the new 30, but it just ain't so.

Anyway, hope to see some of you out there - it should be fun.

I hope I'm not the only one who would like to send out the Izod Center in style.  I've been recruiting people for awhile to attend the final home game.  I have a lot of great memories there (in spite of this year's frustrations) and it would be nice to see one last game with a serious home crowd cheering on the NETS.  The guys have been playing much better lately, and we've beaten the Bobcats twice already, so we have a good chance of going out with a win.  Anybody else up for a PACK THE HOUSE campaign?????

I really wanna to hear what other people thought of the NETS playing highlights of Kidd, RJ & VC knocking the Raptors out of the 2007 playoffs.    I sat there watching Bosh looking up at the jumbo tron and thought it probably wasn't the best of ideas.   There's nothing like giving the opposing team a little extra motivation.   I know he was having a decent first half against us even before they played that clip, but you could see he took it up a notch in the second half.  He seemed to be looking towards the NETS bench a lot in the second half too - especially after his dunks.  Maybe the NETS should have just kept that stroll down memory lane to themselves tonight.   Thoughts?

Yormark and his kid are on CBS behind Coach Calipari and the Kentucky bench.  Is that a Wall jersey on his son?  Maybe Yormark's son will be the lucky charm NETS fans are hoping for on Lottery Day.   At this point NETS fans will welcome any measure of luck we can find.  The future could still be bright without Wall, but I'd sure like to see what it can be like with him.
