I've been a baseball fan since birth! When I was younger my favorite team was the St. Louis Cardinals. After a weird experience as a teen, witnessing a friend who decided to follow in the footsteps of his "role model", Pete Rose, (ended up losing all his college scholarships, went to jail for awhile, and lately lost his job when GM cut back its employees), I thought it time to pay attention to excellence on and off the ballfield. There are an awful lot of kids watching baseball, so I tend to think it's gonna benefit us all to encourage both leagues' players, managers, owners, journalists, fans,.... to be the best role models possible, through great work ethic, stamina and general "All American"winning-fair attitude. In this way we all can help make baseball the kind of sport that epitomizes honor and the joy of raising ourselves to great heights in this traditionally "All American" sport.
