Is it fair to say our Giants "collapse" in the second half
Since the Giants have lost to the Cowboys and Eagles in back to back weeks, I have heard the question of "are the Giants going to collapse in the second half of this season". And they of course show the Giants record in the second half of each season under Tom Coughlin. Osi was asked a similar question right before the Eagles game. My question is, is that a fair stigma or assesment of the Giants under Tom Coughlin?
Paying off my bet
Last week a couple guys from BGN came over to BBV and offered to wager some of us on last nights game. Needless to say, I lost (thanks Eli). To pay off my bet, I had to change my avatar to the Eagles symbol for a week, put Vick-timized as my signature, and head over here to sing the Eagles praises. So here goes nothing.......

Beer of the Week
This weeks selection is Gubna from Oskar Blues. If you love IPA's and Double/Imperial IPA's this is definitely a must try. Wighing in at 100 IBU's this is a hop explosion but there is definitely some malty sweetness to it as well. Oh, it is also 10% abv so becareful, this can hit you pretty fast.
For those of you that have had this, let me know what you think. For those that haven't and plan on having a few beers with the game pick some up and let me know what you think. Oh, and as always GO GIANTS!!!!! If anybody has a beer they love and would like to see featured let me know. Hopefully we will make a long playoff run and will have time to get to a lot of them.
Weekly Idea (Courtesy of Cat Scratch Reader)
So I checked out Cat Scratch Reader when we played the Panthers week 1. On Friday, they do a beer of the week post. Being a big craft beet than I thought it was kind of cool. Since most of us live in the same general area, we should have access to the same craft beer. So if people are interested and Ed doesnt have a problem with it I would like to completely steal their idea and bring it to BBV. Not sure if anybody would be interested.
Shawn Andrews
The Eagles have officially released Shawn Andrews. Does anyone think the Giants should take a shot at him if they could sign him cheap? He had back surgery in December and battled depression in 2008, but prior to that he was one of the most dominant guards in the NFL. If he is still available after he gets healthy I would not be opposed to the Giants taking a chance on him. Again, only if he could be had CHEAP.
