Spent the day in right field and Milton Bradley was getting into it with loudmouths all....day....long. I've spent plenty of games out there over the years, but this was my first this season. For any regulars, is this normal?

I'm not criticizing Bradley, just wondering if he's always engaging the crowd.

When the Fukudome shirts first came out, I think it's safe to say that there was an awful lot of people here that found them offensive - and Fukudome himself didn't know what to make of them: "''I don't know what the creator of the shirt meant this to be, but they should make it right,'' Fukudome said through his interpreter after being shown one of the shirts Thursday. ''Maybe the creator created it because he thought it was funny, or maybe he made it to condescend the race. I don't know.''

So, with the Cleveland team coming to town for the weekend, I'm curious what you think.

Do you think Chief Wahoo is offensive?

Since I need some words, I'll just expound on a pet theory of mine whose basic premise is that Americans love to destroy their athletic heroes. They build things up to unimaginable heights because it gives them a cheap vicarious thrill and then enjoy the ride down to humanity - or below - as much and actually find more meaning in the destruction of the things they revere than the original ascension....

So I'm taking a couple of longtime baseball fans to their first games at Wrigley Field for the Braves series and I thought I'd try to tap the immense knowledge of this group of diehards for some interesting little-known things to see at the ballpark.

What I mean is those sometimes overlooked, but unique things that make Wrigley so wonderful. Have you a favorite, little-known feature of the park you'd point out to someone while you stroll around pre-game?

It's not like I'm asking you to divulge a secret fishing hole or something, just maybe one of those little quirks of the yard that might make someone say, "Huh. I never noticed that!"

First, if there is already a thread or post devoted to the program, my feeble searching abilities failed me as I did look for one and didn't find it - but should it exist, I'll remove this one.

Thought it might be nice to have a clearinghouse for discussion of the evenings program - kudos, complaints, insights and affronts.

I like how the highlights start with games in progress, so I can catch some good games on the Extra innings package.

I see the program lead tonite with Dice-K's shoulder and Joba's pitchcount - no mention of the incredible comeback. Not unexpected, but disappointing.

But seriously, the "analysts" what. the hell.

First highlight, Angels v. Blue Jays. Matthews Jr. drops a bunt McGowan throws it away - Angels score.

Now, Chris Singleton proceeds to analyze: "Put it in your pocket. 'Jerry' Matthews can fly and he got a great bunt down."

It was a good bunt, but Matthews was thrown out by a mile at third trying to stretch the error. It would have been a close play at first, but flying around the bases he most certainly was not. Neither is he named "Jerry".

Anyhow, see or hear something interesting on the show? I'd like to read about it.
