Including shocking revelation that will undoubtedly mean the end of football scholarships and bowl games for Harvard for the foreseeable future.
This one conducted by Chicago Tribune sportwriter Sam Farmer, in which he calls, in draft pick order, a writer who covers their team in each NFL city. Dareus to the Bills, Ingram to the Patriots?
As is usual, their predictions are of the homer variety. Interesting that about 40% of the voters in the fan poll at the site currently think the Bills will win.
An item in today's in the Daily Herald, a suburban Chicago newspaper: "Center of attention: Defenseman Brian Campbell enjoys the fact he still gets booed by Sharks fans every time he touches the puck in games at HP Pavilion for leaving as a free agent. "Wait until Buffalo," Campbell said. That game Dec. 11 will be Campbell's first back in Buffalo since he was traded by the Sabres to the Sharks when they knew he wasn't going to re-sign with them as a free agent." What do you think? Will he be booed in Buffalo?
http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=340041The Bills could easily be 5-2 right now, but for 2 unfortunate kick returns. Would that feel good? I felt elated but uneasy last year when I walked out of the stadium after the San Diego game....
Peter Schrager's 2010 mock Rd. 1 draft. The good news? He must think the Bills will do better than 7 - 9; he has them drafting 17th. Bad news? He has them drafting a safety in Rd 1.
Is there a Mock-Drafts Anonymous Site?
An article from a suburban Chicago newspaper about how rookie WRs fare. The article is conventional wisdom, but it does assemble the rookie and career stats of the top ten WRs taken in each of the last 4 drafts, which is interesting. Since a WR is so dependent on how much time the OL gives the QB and the QB's ability to get them the ball, the stats don't necessarily mean that much. I guess --- more than the statistics --- the bottom line in evaluating a receiver is their ability to get open and what they do when the ball comes sailing their way.
